Bottom line is if you are struggling to shed those last pounds then you are indeed a weight bully and should be fighting in a higher weight class.

No chance Haney was 165 lbs on fight night. Like 0%. Garcia said he was around 160 lbs for the fight. He said this in his own words. And anyone with two good eyes could see Garcia was much bigger than Haney in the fight. It was a noticeable difference. So anyone saying Haney was confirmed at 165 lbs is either making things up or they got fed some bad information.

Garcia even said, again in his own words, "the weight bully got bullied"; basically acknowledging he had a significant weight advantage. If Garcia was roughly 160 lbs on fight night I'd say Haney was no more than 150 lbs and that's being generous. I'd say he was closer to 147. He looked slight compared to Ryan.

And considering these cats were 3-3 vs eachother as amateurs it's clear Ryan had a significant advantage with what was pretty much a two weight division differential. A solid professional Middleweight is going to beat a solid professional Welterweight more times than not.

You could see the extra mass benefit Garcia and how it played out in the fight. Garcia was walking through anything Haney had and Ryan's power punches were doing straight up damag. I think it's kind of BS that Garcia won't give Haney a rematch with some kind of clause. The Boxing Commision needs to go back to weigh-ins on the day of the fight at the very least.

Ryan having 10 or more lbs on Haney was way more of an advantage than Ryan always crying about that rehydration clause vs Tank. Garcia out there as a natural Super Welterweight or Middleweight fighting Super Lightweights and Lightweights. It's soft as hell. The true warriors climb divisions; they don't cherry pick smaller dudes. And if you're going to cherry pick smaller dudes don't cry when one of those smaller dudes outclasses, outmatches and outskills you(ie: vs Tank); after you agreed to and signed a contract/clause.

Garcia is soft imo. If he was legit he'd be trying to schedule fights with Bud or Spence or even a class up. At least fight dudes who are naturally in the 147-155 lbs range, like he is. Tank doesn't need to do a rematch. He's clearly the better fighter. I mean I'd watch it of course if they wanted to go at 140 lbs, but if I'm a part of the Davis camp I'd make Garcia sign another contract preventing him from coming into fight night at 160 lbs.

Davis said he'd love to fight Inoue, but it wouldn't be able to happen because he said he knew Inoue is too small. Davis respects the game. He's not cherry picking smaller dudes.

Anyway, I'd like to see Garcia and Haney run it back, but somehow make it that they'd fight at an even weight. Not sure how, but I think if both Garcia and Haney are roughly 145-150 lbs on fight night the results would be different. I'm not saying Haney wins, but Garcia wouldn't be running through Haney's shots and Garcia's landed power shots wouldn't look like he had weighted gloves on.

I'd like to see Tank fight Lomachenko or run it back with Cruz. I'd also like to see Garcia vs Cruz. I think Cruz would be a problem for Garcia.
