Never built him up to be a king and never said he’d beat Floyd at 130 or 135. Just think Haney needs to actually fight some legit competition and actually do something as oppose to chatting ****. Once he does then he has the right to make comments and not get killed for it

He's talking slang i know exactly what he's saying. Most guys his age talk like that on social media he's not trying to be grammatically correct. People here are wack with this gross overreaction and just want to attack him because they dont like him anyway. Btw loma isn't wack and he shouldn't have said it. He needs to step up his level of comp like Lopez has.

 

I like Haney as a fighter and I don't mind slang talk at all but he could have at least say it as "I done said Loma was wack". Even still, he's really not in the position to say that about Loma when he himself hasn't done much, and fighting an old Gamboa isn't help at all.

 

I feel you. But that's not how the slang is spoken. How he said it is grammatically correct in slang him saying " I done said Loma was wack" isn't lol!

i dont agree. theres a way of saying things in a different way, and then theres just being wrong. he speaks like hes never been inside an english class...in america. he sounds stupid, like mentally slow, when he wrecks a sentence like that. theres nothing hip, cool or street in all that, its just an acceptance of his own ignorance. every stupidity cant be blamed on culture, sometimes its just stupidity.

 

This is why I just follow rap battle. Keeps me up with the slang.

 

You tend to talk like the people you are around. He talks like any other 21 year old kid from the ghetto. Doesn't make him stupid.

 

That's the way these young cats talk when using slang. They're not going to get on Instagram and use proper grammar not going to happen. That's how these Gen Zers roll. If they text you it will be the same way. I'm used to it I grew up with it.

i hear how kids talk around me, and of course they sound different than in my day, but i can see the difference between different and dumber.

 

You know old folks probably said the same damn thing about you right? He might be dumb he might not be. How he phrases the thoughts doesn't matter. The thought itself matters.
