i get it. slang is a way of putting flavor on the way you say things compared to the squares. this aint flavor, this is not knowing how to cook.
of course it matters, its an indication of your thought process and creativity. communication is the single biggest indicator of mental ability in informal circumstances. you will be judged on how you express your thoughts. as well you should. and im from the streets and spent plenty of time in the underworld.
I sound like an absolute street rat in person. **** is the glue that holds my thoughts together. Spent my adult life in gyms in kitchens. I'm a monster in text though.
yeah, i can speak to anyone on their level. i can sound like the leader of the local street gang or a convict, and i can speak like im running a fortune 500 company. usually, its a salad from both bowls. but i can tell who the smart ones and the dumb ones are, from both audiences.
Fair enough. I just don't say anything if I got nothing say. But there's about 4-5 subjects I can go on about for hours. When in doubt, shut up.
im familiar with your work, the boxing articles. i have no doubt about your intelligence and would approach you on equal terms, in either world. dont hesitate to share your thoughts, they are worth contemplating.
Yeah, it's easy to lose respect for a boxer just because he's rated on most p4p lists and he don't want to punch for six rounds of a 12 round fight. Fans are pretty fickle. Not me though. I still have the same opinion of him.
