Devin Haney is a bad matchup for Loma, stylistically

Haney's doing the right thing in building the fight. He's not doing anything wrong. If Loma fights him first before he unifies, I'm cool with it. Just not the optimal way I'd like to see it play out because I want Loma to have the toughest challenges out there, and I think Haney's a bigger one in a year.

Haney will not be fighting Loma next. I’m with Loma on this. Loma has the right to wait for a unification fight. But Haney is a breath of fresh air calling him out. Not a lot of guys are doing this. Haney will have to fight a top guy to win the vacant title. Javier Fortuna will probably be the guy since they are the next two in line.

I’m always on the side of development, but he’s not saying in a year I’ll be ready. He called the man Nomachenko. Let him go get his ass kicked. Loma is a demoralizer, not a destroyer. If Haney fights Loma and loses, it’s up to him to want to come back. Azumah Nelson came back from Salvador Sanchez. It can happen.

And I want to apologize to @Odins beard . I agree with a lot of what he says. But we have to be able to agree to disagree.

Loma won't have much issue with the Berchelt I saw in the ring last time out.

He can definitely bounce back if he tries and loses. There's no shame in it, especially for a guy on the way up. Haney's a hell of a talent and I think he's got the right mentality to a) give it 100% without getting crushed mentally and b) not let a loss be the end of him. He, Vergil Ortiz, and Boots Ennis are my three favorite U.S. prospects right now.

I'm much more concerned about Lopez as it relates to bouncing back from a loss in his current state of mind, honestly. But I think Commey may be the one to do it first if that fight comes off.

First of all, the word is "lynched" not "linched." And so now I'm akin to a racist murderer because I don't agree with your inane ramblings? Cute rhetorical trick, that.

As for the Rigo fight, perhaps you ought to consult your local optometrist. Rigo quit because he had no answers for Lomachenko. Period. End of. To suggest otherwise is foolish and merely bespeaks an agenda on your part (something tells me you were one of those "objective" posters claiming that Rigo would "break Loma's jaw" before the fight).

So Walters was embarrassed by Lomachenko because of mysterious underworld forces, eh?
Meanwhile, back here on Planet Earth.....

embarrassed? this guy received 2 clean shots, at most, and quitted. And never ever fought again. After his promoter punishing him one year without fighting, and he having an epic dispute with him. Dude, walters went there to lose, and to lose exactly in that round. The walters fight is one of the weirdest things I've ever witnessed in boxing. A champion, one year punished without fighting, quitting witout receiving any meaningful punch, and never ever fighting again. Wtf!!! you have to be blind not to see that this is weird as F and that there's something behind.

EDIT: oh, btw, being lynched is being punished without trial. The "lynch's law".And can be done for non-racist reasons, I dont know where you got that it can only be done for racist reasons.

Dude, we all know what you meant by "lynched." Don't try to blow smoke up my as$ now.

With respect to the Walters fight, watch it again. Walters was getting turned all night, could not land anything of note, and was beginning to get peppered with shots (check out, for example, the 7th when Walters got buzzed near the end of the round). Had the fight gone on, he would have been battered and stopped.
