    Right... he should retire just because he isn't the next Mayweather

    Haney is still a formidable fighter regardless of the loss or not. Makes no sense to retire as he still sells and is near top if his division.

    That’s ridiculous, I don’t like Haney but he has plenty of reasons to continue with his career. He’s still good enough to beat most at 140 and well known enough to make a lot of money from each fight. Even at 147 he can have some success with very careful matchmaking.

    Ridiculous take to be honest. He's talented. If you can't beat everybody out there you should retire? That just makes no sense.

    There'd be no boxing with that attitude.
