There's no question that Haney is 160+ on fight night.

Weight bullying is a myth. If you can make weight, make weight. It's how it is.

It's not a myth. It's a thing. Some guys are young enough to drain down and not be negatively impacted on fight night.

Weight bullying is a thing but I don't see it as that big of a deal. It's a physical attribute that you may have that your opponent probably doesn't. No different than reach, speed, stamina, or strength. The biggest problem is that guys who are able to weight bully usually have the advantages in strength and reach as well.

Think it's the term which I object to. It's not bullying lol. But it is a 'thing' that some boxers are able to put back on a lot more weight after weigh-in. That's probably genetic and directly linked to the percentage of body mass made up of water, I would suspect. That value can be very different from person to person. There should be some limitation to this re-hydrating because it makes a mockery of the weigh-in where ounces matter and then boxers pile back on llbs with no regulation....

It is a myth. Skills win fights not size. If you make weight you make weight. There are more fights where the guy with skills won more than the size difference.

no there isnt, if there was, there would be no need for weight divisions, the most skilled guy would beat everybody.

But I'm talking about guys who are big in their DIVISION. What you just said makes absolutely no sense.

Weight bullying is the most beta term I've ever heard. Everyone is playing by the same rules

Power and size is the most important factor in boxing. That's why there have always been at least 8 weight divisions. To limit how much size matters.

All you have to do is peep Williams-Hurd to see that skills dominate size.
