It must be the angle of the video because I seen Haney (he comes to my gym sometimes) and he’s tiny!

Will that be the excuse if he beats Lomachenko?

Skill can overcome size but you need more skill than the bigger person. If you don't also have respectable power you won't be beating the bigger person.

If two people are equal in skill, the bigger fighter usually wins.

And all you have to do is peep Lara-Hurd to see the opposite.

Not to mention that some are clearly on PED to aid in the cutting process. Weight bullies exist in boxing. It's irrefutable. The people who deny that it exists are usually fanboys of said fighters.

Fighters should fight at their natural weight. I don't know how to police it safely but there must be a way to medically verify the level of dehydration in a person before they get in the ring. I guess too many fights would get cancelled.......

 Its funny you made this thread. Im from the same area as Haney and saw him in public about a month ago. I'm 6'1 180 and Haney is way bigger than me. He has a muscular build and appeared to be about my height, if not taller. How is it possible that he fights at 135 with the likes of Lomachenko? He's still really young, maybe he hit a growth spurt.

Don't take this wrong way, but maybe you are little overweight for you frame? I don't know. If you were extremely lean like Haney would you be 180 pounds?

Weight plays a huge roll in fights. Go spar someone 3 weight classes above you and then come back and talk.

:crybaby2: no, you're right. he's lean and it's all muscle. When you gain muscle, you lose weight.

When you gain muscle you gain weight. But muscle is denser than fat so if you have low bodyfat you take up less space.
