I used to accuse certain fighters of being weight bullies but then somebody on this forum made some great points and i changed my view. If you can be that big and hit the weight stipulated then why not. Some fighters have lightening fast reflexes, some have lethal power, some have incredible fast hands, and some are big at the weight. Only real weight bully was Canelo, he was dragging fighters to his BS catchweights and then coming in looking like a cruiser weight and the drugs he got caught taking help with all that business.

Haney has very little time left at 135, hes going to end up at 147 or even 154 before he retires. Thats why he has been screaming for the big names in the division NOW NOW NOW. Hes a very ambitious kid and hes in a rush. And personally i think we are looking at the nearest thing we are guna get to the next Floyd which we will see in the coming years. Hes still got a lot to learn and hes still got green in hIm that he needs to lose but im already a big fan.

    What?

The point is simple. Basically everyone weight cuts, because their opponents weight cut.

If you dint weight cut, you'll end up fighting guys way bigger than you.

    Whats hard to understand?

Weight bully's should be characterized as fighters who consistently bring up fighters from lower weights and preferably coming off losses to pummel..not someone who is just big at the weight imo.

Clenelo is the definition of a weight bully. Devin Haney is not.

Creating catchweights for the sole purpose of pulling up smaller men so that you can abuse clenbuterol to the max and hulk them out.

Haney is able to make 135lbs because he just turned 21 years old. Crawford and Shane Mosley were both huge lightweights when they were young.

But yes he ain't going to be in this weight class much longer at all. Very interested to see if he and Eddie Hearn if they genuinely engage with TopRank after Loma smokes Teofimo Lopez. Loma v. Haney should be the next fight because it'll be both of their last fights at 135lbs. Tank Davis and Mayweather want 0.0% part of Loma but I believe that Haney certainly does.

When I think of weight bullying I’m thinking Hurd or Munguía vs sadam Ali.

    not Haney, floyd or canelo

for some reason when your that skilled the weight bullying charge gets thrown out in court.

All fighters hell all humans try to take advantage of each other wether that be pulling a-side catch weights or using other fighters / businesses as bargaining chips / tactics.

i don’t understand the outrage. I mean yeah it’s crappy but seems to be a part of life.
