Surprised to see Haney working with Roach. Seems like Devin is wanting to improve on his power and offense against Prograis.

Doesn’t have the final snap from the turnover on his punches. No great snap on his shoulders. Just pushes everything.

Some fighter’s think punching is pushing.

Haney looks huge here now that's an example of I where the term weight bully comes from.

Just realized how slow Haney is throwing combos.

To think the 40 plus Pacquiao is still miles faster is boggling.

You & me both but at same time i've seen Haney go anywhere where he is able to pick up a thing or two as once he shows up people will com to him naturally.

You're right & it's the same opinion i hold, Roach hasn't been good well over a decade now.

Just saw Manny on the mitts yesterday getting in some training & it's a big difference in speed & power even.

Haney needs to man up & rematch Loma because he robbed him & he knows it himself. He avoids the subject like the plague. Anyone can look good hitting the heavy bag or the mitts neither hit back do they lol

I believe that the fact Freddie is still getting in ring with his fighters is a testament to his bravery & guts. having that terrible ailment he suffers from. To me he is still one of the best out there

I can see why he boils down to 135 and 140 as guys his own size would come straight through the front door and put him in the dirt.

100% agreed. Maybe Ronnie Shields since he’s big enough he can learn the high guard and jab but that’s it. Shields could probably help mold his style similar to Lara but even Lara was faster and more pop.

If Haney becomes more aggressive he’s getting knocked the **** out.

Exactly the kid is not built for war. Without a massive size advantage he is on borrowed time.

That's a different matter al together & agree that it's nice to see him still in there & just running the gym for fighters, but Training wise he zoned out a long long time ago not to mention all the unneeded trash talking he did in behalf of his fighter/s which was only embarrassing.

Roach has probably seen his best days as a trainer but it's interesting that Haney is looking to improve and get new ideas.
