The rematch nobody asked for is happening four months after their first uneventful contest in which Haney became the first undisputed champ since Pernell Whitaker. The first fight happened in Marvel Stadium while this one will take place in the Rod Laver Arena.

Does anyone believe Kambosos can manage to win the fight? Was the first fight just a ploy by Georgie boy to let Devin let his guard down and beat him convincingly in the rematch? Will Kambosos finally show us the Art of War? :sherlock:

Haney will probably fight Lomachenko should he be victorious again. Funny how Haney has all the belts at 135 and yet nobody cares about him. People are more interested in the likes of Tank and Garcia than pillow hands.

You'd hardly know it. Zero buzz.

Has it really been four months? Feels like four weeks.

It was made as soon as Haney Inked his "Devin Hanie" on the dotted line for the 1st fight (rematch Clause)

Not excited for this one - But I'll watch it I guess.
Hopefully there is some level of drama , a knockdown or stoppage on this go.

Yeah that’s kinda why I feel like rematch clauses should have a competitive fight clause in them. If the fight is competitive that’s fine but if it’s near shutout there shouldn’t be a rematch..

A featherfisted natural 147 pounder with the most repulsive fanbase in history jabbing and hugging 130-135 pounder leprechauns to death

I too didn't know about this fight, or forgot maybe. As mentioned, pointless fight, the first was too one sided.

I wonder if Kambosos is really fully prepared to make changes to his gameplan to make it a different fight or if he's just cashing out. He really has to have the heart and will to go all in at this point. This would be a completely pointless fight if it turns out to be another one sided affair.

Kambosos did seem to bother Haney with the little amount he threw. If he comes in with his usual high volume style he could make it interesting. I still think he loses though.

I do think George is intelligent enough to be able to move forward with a different gameplan this time and stick to it.

Will it be affective is another question, but I do think he can change the look of the 2nd fight. I still think Haney wins but the fight may look different.
