Plenty of great boxers have had **** chins. So it´s not really an excuse.

Linares is shot. If it was Linares from the DeMarco bout (a loss, but he was performing beautifully until that point), I would pick him to clearly win, but as it stands now I'd be surprised.

 

He is old, yeah. Linares loss vs Loma was not cos chin, like Campbell vs Garcia he get a liver punch.
If bearing in mind that Campbell who is pretty large for Loma had lost vs Linares on points and vs Loma on points, didn't managed drop Loma down even once in 12 rounds and not that weak he is : he dropped Garcia who is pretty large boy for 135 lbs division.
Linares actually for me looked more dangerous for Loma than Teo and Campbell. If I mean real risk to get dropped again and again.
Linares somewhat sneaked in and I think this was most risky fight Loma had. If he managed to drop Loma again and again, regardless, had been Loma fresh or no after this, ref might had ended fight and declared Linares as winner.
BTW, I had assumed that Linares, Campbell and Teo if they will win vs Loma, will achieve this via stoppage. They are large for Loma, sure.

 

Love this fight.
I like Haney but I have my doubts. Doubt itll be as easy as some here are saying itll be.
I think Linares is still a top fighter in any division hes in.
