He never steps into his punches or puts his full weight behind them either. His punch technique is pretty bad too iirc. Floppy wrist syndrome. I subscribe to the whole you're either born a puncher or you're not theory but even then Devin could punch with an iota of power if he just committed to his punches, shifted his weight properly, locked his wrist correctly, and fully extended. It was so funny when Devin was still an acceptable pick for P4P lists and everybody talked about his excellent fundamentals when he's always had really iffy fundies. I have no clue why Devin would weight-drain himself so much when it didn't increase his punching power, made his already poor chin even more fragile, and when his style isn't even that physical apart from when he goes full octopus. The only advantage I can see is being better at range against smaller opponents but even then he'd have a decent reach for welter.

You stick Haney in with any legit puncher who is world class, let alone elite, his size or close to and he'll get bounced up and down off the canvas or KTFO, providing they don't have a T-Rex reach and his refs don't allow him to octopus grab all night which of course they will

GGG could shatter that chin with a jab

These giant weight bullies often don't look near as formidable when they move up and start facing opponents their own size or close to it as they do when they're beating up on leprechauns they're way bigger than or bigger/longer than

If Haney cant hurt people at 135/140 he damn sure cant fight at his walking weight. There's a reason weight cutting is common in ALL combat sports.

Why the hate for Haney? Putting him in the ring with GGG and/or Benevidez is certainly dangerous to his health.

Please send me some of whatever drugs you are on.

GGG would have Haney in a hearse inside 30 seconds. Benavidez would too, but it might take 45 seconds.

I see Haney vs GGG going like the Martirosyan fight, but even less competitive, but the ending being every bit as violent.
