The bookies have Haney as the slight favorite.

They know he's a big lightweight, with enough size to give Loma fits. Loma has shown that he's not a natural lightweight and he has trouble with the height and reach of these guys. His skills gets it done, but I think youth, size and reach can be a great equalizer in is instance.

I have Loma as a slight favorite going into this fight, because Haney doesn't seem to handle pressure well. He holds too much on the inside and I think Loma is offensively skilled enough to punish him to the body and head. Haney will look good in the first few rounds, but Loma will slowly break him down for a decision or late TKO.

This will be one of Loma's easiest wins.

I hope ESB have their excuses ready when Haney wins, with a lot of holding. No shame if Lomachenko loses but I’m looking at his age and size and I’d be shocked if he wins this one. His only chance is if Haney doesn’t do the weight correctly.

I see it as close and competitive myself. But then again, I thought Lomachenko would beat Lopez, and I thought Kambosos would beat Haney. So what do I know?

His only chance, really? Dude, calm down. This is Lomachenko we're talking about here. That sounds flat out irrational.

I like this fight a lot, Lomachenko will remind everyone how far ahead he is of every other fighter. Haney is in for a world of shock going from Kambosos and sitting on top of the world as undisputed, to fighting his first real opponent who is going to be motivated (and hopefully healthy). I expect Lomachenko to win every round and stop him in the 8th or 9th round.

Devin will likely lose to a spawn of Yakub, and that will **** him, his delusional old man, and lots of people on here off.

Lomachenko isn’t going to be held by him, he’ll wrestle and punch on the inside. Loma should be unbeaten if not for some bad luck and incompetence. Haney isn’t at this level, I think Teo, Tank and any top fighter with power beats Haney. Lomachenko should stop him.

I think people really need to remember this little detail. Loma was injured going into the Lopez match. People do not get surgery immediately following a match, just to propagate some pisspoor excuse. He thought he could close strong and get Lopez out of there, while taking as few risks as possible, in an effort not to exacerbate his injury, and lose by TKO because of it. While Loma came roaring back, it was too little too late, his strategy failed. Now, what does a healthy Loma do to Lopez? A compromised unhealthy version swept 5 of the last 6 rounds, arguably did enough for a close win or draw, because I see an argument for Loma winning the 2nd and 6th. So you and I's pre-fight thoughts would in all likelihood, have panned out.

The Ortiz match was not very close, at worst it was 116-112 for Loma. This is an Ortiz that handily beat Herring almost as one sidedly as das wunderkind Stevenson. Loma walked through Commey and Nakatani and barely broke a sweat. As far as Kambosos goes, I thought he could get the win as well, since he proved to be fairly adept on the backfoot and able to make adjustments on the fly. But, that only applies to the backfoot with George, frontfoot, he has the ring IQ of a cross eyed gnat. However, on the frontfoot, Lomachenko has an incredible ring IQ, especially when he doesn't have power to fear, as far as the holding goes, Loma is incredible at nullifying that, there's no one who's ever been able to effectively tie him up. The only thing that happens is Loma slips out of the hold, which leaves them slightly befuddled and then he catches them on the way out of the door, usually with a combination. There's nothing Haney does well that Loma hasn't seen countless times before. The angles and footwork of Loma will make Haney look like an amateur and ill prepared to defend against everything coming his way.

I got Loma by KO he will be able to get to Haney’s glass jaw. My man Kambosos wasn’t skilled enough to get to the longer Haney but Loma will find a way.

Honestly..the only things Haney has on Loma is size and age. He needs to hope Loma comes in with one arm.

Loma will have to beat Haney 8-4 to get a draw. Boxing needs a new star, they’re trying to make this weight bully Haney just that.

Not the best argument. Older fighters take longer to warmup in the beginning of fights. This could be costly for Loma if the fight goes the distance.

    I don't see it

Haney won't keep him at bay all day. He has no power, his speed is nothing that could give Loma issues, his timing is inferior and all he does is clinch over and over again in an attempt to deactivate any form of offense the opponent puts out which is something Lomachenko is excellent at wrestling out of

    Devin's getting knocked out
