Devin Haney vs Yuriorkis Gamboa is set for November 7th

Haney isn’t as ambitious as he claims to be clearly.

 

Sad to see Gamboa being used as fodder for young fighters now.

I don’t care much for this fight

 

Pointless fight. Only thing that makes this worthwhile is if Gamboa has that "one last great' fight in him and gives Haney a tougher than expected fight. But if it ends early, was a waste of time.

 

So Gamboa gets TKO'd in his previous fight, and that sets him up for a world title shot? Cool.

 

Glorified sparring session. Gamboa just looking for a paycheck. Haney is coming off injury so I’ll cut him slack. And he’s young. Would like to see him fight Tank or Garcia but that’s probably a year away.

He really shoulda have been. blinding speed and power. Reminds me a bit of Joan Guzman. Both underperformed quite a bit for their careers.

I don’t even think the Garcia or tank fights are gonna happen. Feel like one of the belts is gonna be vacated for Garcia to pick up and they all end up trash talking each other on Twitter or something

 

Wouldn’t surprise me. We will have another crop of talented young guys afraid to lose that 0 on their record. Too many already with Tank, Crawford, Spence, etc. People are fools for falling for this crap.

Let’s give Haney a break on this one. He is still young and coming off injury. I don’t think he will duck guys once he gets healthy. Same is true of Ryan Garcia. He seems game. Isn’t he fighting Campbell next? Meanwhile Tank is still on a diet of smaller guys and Twinkie’s.
