Should be Haney on points unless Linares can roll back time.

Jorge clearly loving life, chilling and looking like the bad mother****er that he is. He's giving off Don Corleone vibes. And yes, I clicked on this because I wanted to check out the interviewer.:sisi1

This is a great fight. I hope Linares don't get ktfo early so we can see how Haney's skills measure up to Linares Flash.

Hard to dislike either of these guys. I've always been a fan of Jorge; in his younger days I fancied him to be the next big thing.

Haney seems to have some incredible tools, good marketing, and self-belief. It's disappointing to see the hate he garners; I can't point my finger on it other than resentfulness. Of course, there's always the chance that people are expecting Haney to eventually implode, thus validating their pitiful venom.

Naive realism is all I have to say my friend. Lower your expectations of people and you'll lower your disappointments.

Looking forward to watching this on Dazn but can only envisage a Haney victory

Hard to see other than Haney win, but if Linares can roll a few years back, it IS a step up in class for Devin.

Still, UD Haney is the smart bet.

I have Haney on points, too, but I think Linares is a live dog here. I would love to see him pull of the upset.

Going against the grain and picking Linares on points. Yeah it's wishful thinking, the smart money is on Haney... but I'm just not fully sold on him.

There is no such thing as a "weight bully". This concept needs to die already. Your weight class if the one you can and want to make. The idea that a fighter shouldn't go down to a weight he can safely make is stupid, because height and frame disparities always exist in boxing.

Screw it, I'll be "That Guy".

Linares, probably by decision but KO won't surprise me. Linares has never been outpointed, is a highly skilled operator, and can punch. Sure, he's a bit long in the tooth and has suspect whiskers, but not that suspect, at least not against someone who has proven time and again that he couldn't crack eggs to make breakfast. Couple that with the fact that Linares is by far and away the best fighter on Haney's record, along with a bloated sense of unjustified confidence from being the WBC mail-weight champion.

If Haney wins, much like KingRy I'll be very impressed by him. Still won't be the legit WBC lightweight champion (whatever the WBC says) but I'll certainly take him far more seriously as a world-title contender.

Haney KO5... Haney's gonna be trying to send Lopez a message and old Linares will sadly oblige.

This is not your first stupid comment.

What's so hard to understand that one guy will weigh significantly more than the other and hence will be stronger, be able to take the opponents punches better and punch harder.... Its really not a complex concept. And these smaller weights you'd feel the effects of a 5-10lb weight advantage let alone 15-25lbs. Your comments nicely ignore all these facts.

Unfortunately whether you like it or not weight bullying is a thing... Just because they can make weight does not mean they aren't a weight bully. It's another way of essentially stacking things in your favour so your opponent has an ever decreasing chance of winning

You're essentially asking for a concept to die,
that allows boxers to fool the public into thinking they're something their not. **** you, you scumbag
