James isn`t a great trainer, Ben Davidson did a better job than James with AJ, Spence is right to ditch him.

Garcia has no chance at beating Haney at his own game he should just go in there and run after Haney chin tucked in bombs away. Haney didn't even try to knockout Prograis despite getting the knockdown and outclassing him, Pillowhands and no dog

Not making weight was an excellent strategy, it puts mental pressure on big nose and Haneys size advantage will now be minimized

Cmon Garcia get the upset we're cheering for you

If that's the case then fight in a higher weight class. These guys are so lucky they don't have same day weigh ins.

The point is it does not matter who trains Garcia right now. His clearly doing whatever he wants.

Even if Garcia somehow won, the fact he missed weight by 3 pounds means that win would be tarnished anyway.

Gacia may KO Haney a la McCall/Lewis I or may self-destruct a la McCall/Lewis II.

    It doesn't mean jackshi

Haney is a middleweight fighting at 140 utilizing that rehydration loophole to its maximum potential, i can overlook this if Garcia pulls it off and I hope Haney gets humbled soon, if not Garcia it's Matias

It's all based on rules which shouldn't even be in place. Same day way ins should be standard

I can’t see anything other than a Haney win; and the bookies agree, Haney is HOT favourite.

I don't, unless he really got under Haney's skin. Haney is a couple of levels higher than Garcia and is an absolute professional, he'll beat Garcia; might even stop him.

    Yes and no.

In ordinary circumstances, it absolutely would.
And in the sense that he can't win the belt it would.

    But.

Everyone knows Haney is one of the biggest weight cutters in the sport - it's not like the weigh-in is remotely close to fighting weight... So who cares about the official weights?

Garcia won't get any less credit from fans for this - and it isn't really making a mockery when the huge cuts Haney makes is already making a mockery of weight classes.
