Ah well the ' it could have gone either way ' phrase comes out when an american fighter wins a blind robbery against a foreign fighter.
It only exists to justify the robbery.
It may be said with brit boxing but I haven't noticed so my apologies

Giving all of the first three rounds to Haney is Canelo-Bivol tier scoring.

This forum is full of dishonourable people, who are the base layer of the sh!t pyramid that is boxing today. These people enable and support the corruption that transforms what should be an honourable contest into a predetermined fixed result. You're condoning the mechanism comprising the likes of Ward, Moretti, Arum, ESPN, Top Rank and the governing bodies, which has ruined boxing. In this persona they have the audacity to denigrate Lomachenko.

Objective debate in a boxing forum is good, but when it supports the corruption that boxing has become, we need to rethink our purpose.

To be fair to @Boon I don't think he has anything against Loma. I think he has something against the fans of Loma. When it purely comes to the outcome I don't think he cares, but he dislikes Loma fans and enjoys that they're probably seething and upset.

Hell, some guys weighing less than him could do it. Imagine if he had been in there with Tank tonight. Him or Stevenson are the fights that need to be made next so Haney can be relieved of his belts like he should have been tonight. His response to the weight question tells you how likely those fights are to happen though.

'a small cardboard or paper container and the items contained within it.'

    Is that what you meant?

Agreed. It's going to continue happening regardless because the people in charge of the sport are morally bankrupt, so there is really no point in getting mad about it anymore. Getting angry every time it happens is not good for anyone's mental health.

YOU won't change my mind, but my mind can change. I'm really not sure yours can.

That's another media rbr for Haney though, so even that metric is tightening up now. Live media scorecards are all over the place. Fan RBRs off this forum, are all over the place (it's for Loma - but there's parity between Loma vs Haney plus draw). To me, it looks like because this was a close fight that was tough to score. In fact, i'm pretty sure that that's clealry the case for scoring this fight on tv.

But like I said, fights aren't scored on tv. If what the ringside media saw is dramatically different to what the judges ruled, I'd see that as compelling evidence that the judges got it wrong.
