it was a close and competitive fight, stop acting like Lopez beat him badly. also, unless I’m wrong, he injured the shoulder during the fight. Either way, he beat a one armed fighter.

50 of Haneys were body punches

Now I understand, why they call Usyk lucky boxer, he got lucky many many times.

Loma is so unlucky to be robbed like this.

They could do the same with AJ vs Usyk, but didn't, why ? That's the real question

Yeah, i think disallowing even rounds (Which is pretty much the case) has murdered scoring. It forces guys to score on tiny margins where the angle they're sat at and their perosnal preference really matters so much more.

I would love to see more drawn rounds on official scorecards.

Yeah, mine too. Here's the thing. Loma was groomed and pushed forward by the media and the powers that be to become the undefeated against Haney. He had the best story. Po little Loma, fighting out of his division, fighting a war and a devout Christian. They had the David and Goliath thing going full blast. Now there's Haney, he's a good kid but the wrong color and a devout Muslim, Even Loma tried to play on that in the post fight interview. He made sure to state that Jesus Christ was his savior just because Haney gave praise to Allah, He knew what he was doing. He's a fake in my book. He said out of his mouth that he ain't never lost a fight. He don't believe he lost to Teo or Salido either. Media putting him in the category of the all time greats like Ali, Duran, Mayweather, Pac and such. The man ain't had but 20 pro fights and the champions he beat were one hit wonders, for vacant titles and mediocre at best. He lost and he might as well accept it. He didn't lose by much but he clearly lost.

Yeah... I trust the opinions of most of the mods on here, and many of the posters, better than theirs. That includes my scorecard, The Professor's scorecard, IB's scorecard, and yes even yours.... which also wasn't win for Haney.

When they started to read out the scores and they went "116-112" I thought "good, that's Loma, as even in this most corrupt of sports, they surely can't score 8 rounds to Haney".

Boxing corruption can still surprise, even after 30+ years of following the sport.

I do worry about my N'wah Pimps weight. Every since he left Hammerfell the Sweetrolls have gotten the better of him. He mustn't let the questionable success of his favorite arena combatants get to his head.

Yes, the rbr threads here are the best on the internet.

    BUT.

Like any other place on planet Earth it is subject to groupthink. There are four or five guys here, yourself chief among them that are very very vocal on subjects x and y. I consider myself a strong character here, someone who is not afraid of (Enjoys) a ruck. But I myself was like that "I should stop posting now and leave it be" because I know the type of aggression that will emerge in defence of this position.

If i'm not sure I want to post here on nights like this - where I been posting about boxing since 2007 and moderating on and off for nearly 15 years - what are other guys who had Haney doing well thinking? You interrupted me recently in a thread in a Lounge to warn me about my intimidatory attitude because I asked a guy to explain himself. You're far, far more aggressive than that in threads like this when it goes against you and it is absolutely uncalled for. This is by your standard.

Kambosos needs another match with a world class lightweight to get a proper gauge of where he's at.
