    Joe Tessitore harping on Loma's usual power shot connect rate being 48% and so far tonight dropping to just 27%, praising Haney's defense. Conveniently omitting that whenever Lomachenko starts popping off a combo at close range, Haney ties up (and the abortive shots Loma is halfway done throwing when smothered in the clinch all count against his average on the stat line)

    Big sixth for Haney that, he might have lost it - reasonable to say so - but if he won it, he needed it, the rot is stopped, let's see what he's got for the second half of the fight. They trade hard shots ring centre and a couple of Haney jabs edge him minute 1 - fight is getting stop/start and they are msising more, all this fight needs - two right hands, one up and one down probably edge Haney the second minute of the round. His problem though is that Loma has been winning sections - his sections - big. He can win the round in the last minute...left hook bags it for Haney.
