Boschiero is sticking the jab and diving in with rights on the body. Jacob is countering with BIG lean-over hooks on the liver as Boschiero comes in. They both hunker down and load up on hooks to the body, and Boschiero is warned for straying a bit low. Jab on the left eye socket by Jacob while turning Boschiero. Double jab by Jacob. The guard of Boschiero is getting messy as Jacob keeps stirring it up with the hard double jab pressing in. Low blow by Jacob. Warning. Boschiero is offered a chance to traverse the ring and shake it off. He takes barely two full seconds. Time in. Clinch. Boschiero is taking lateral slides, first left, then right, bending his knees and raising his guard, looking to avoid Jacob's jab and body shots. Boschiero is taking a bit of time off here. Jacob presses in. High sidewinging right hand lead by Boschiero, caught on the arm, followed by a left hook downstairs caught on Jacob's other elbow. Double jabs and 1-2s by Jacob pressing in. Another low blow warning on Jacob as he backs Boschiero into a corner. Jacob stalking. Right to the body by Boschiero misses.

It may just be the VD spirit getting to me, but I think I am head over heels for this fight. :love

 

Round 4

Boschiero is ducking in and firing the hard right hand lead up top and following with straight flurries and punctuating left hooks by the ear. Jacob is catching much of this on his crossed arms and popping Boschiero in the face with hard double jabs and left uppercuts on the lungs, having an immediate and noticeable effect on the breathing of Boschiero. BIG left hook on the chin thrown from a head-lowered partial crouch by Boschiero, whipping Jacob's head around - but Jacob answers back with a combination stepping in and landing on the face and body of Boschiero! Jacob is warned again for borderline low punching. Jacob presses Boschiero into the ropes with his 1-2. Tight guard by Boschiero tiptoeing around him. Left hook to the body by Jacob. Long 1-2 fired upward by Boschiero, jumping in and lunging, missing. Low blow warning to Boschiero as they briefly press together without clinching. High right hands by Boschiero, wiped aside by the aggressive piercing 1-2 of Jacob. Double jabs on the mouth by Jacob. Boschiero is pressed toward the ropes by the ramrod jab and long chopping right on the shoulder of Jacob. Clinch, Boschiero looking tired.

Round 5

Boschiero is putting together nice left hooks and high sword-slice rights up top while ducking and weaving, circling as he needs to but trying not to back up if he can help it. Jacob is extending his longer jab past Boschiero's and tickling his jaw with it, walking Boschiero down. Jacob sticks a jab in the chest and chases Boschiero by flicking out another on the quick lead step forward, grazing his face. Boschiero is lowering his arms on the outside now, shaking them out, showing muscle fatigue. When they close in, Boschiero lifts the guard up and twitches side to side, tossing out a few warning-shot jabs. Jacob is patiently stalking, feeding Boschiero his jab at long range. 1-2 into the guard by Jacob, setting up his true intent of a big left hook on the hip. Jacob flurries Boschiero into a corner and gets shoved out in a clinch.
