Boschiero is diving in and throwing big overhead left hooks. Head clash!! Both cut, Jacob worse. Boschiero is warned for both leading with the head and low blows. Boschiero is bleeding from the nose, Jacob badly from the right eyebrow. They exchange 1-2s and Jacob backs Boschiero up to the ropes. Big looping right coming off the ropes by Boschiero, strafing to his right after Jacob catches the shot on his left arm. 1-2s by Jacob backing Boschiero into a corner.

Boschiero was aggressive in the 10th both before and after the cut appeared on Jacob, but he still got the worst of the legally scoring blows, I felt. Too many jabs and uppercuts from Jacob, too many of Boschiero's hooks winged at nothing.

 

Round 11

Boschiero is ducking in past the Jacob 1-2. Big teardrop right hands up top by Boschiero. Jacob is having trouble aiming with the blood pouring in his eye, just standing in one spot and frenetically jabbing out in repetition while squinting at Boschiero with his one functional eye. Boschiero is playing the predator, waiting for a jab or 1-2 to come toward him so he can duck in past it and nail Jacob with an unseen overhand right up close. Boschiero wraps his arms over his face and leans in. BIG RIGHT HAND ON THE BELL BY BOSCHIERO, rattling Jacob.

Round 12

Boschiero is hurling in hard right hands on the frontal lobes of Jacob. Soft uppercuts on the body by Jacob, doing anything he can to fend Boschiero off while he blinks away the blood and regroups. Jacob clinches and holds tightly onto Boschiero until the ref splits them. Hard rights by Boschiero! More clinching by Jacob. Break and push-apart by the ref. Big rally by Jacob, hooking above either hip of Boschiero with either hand. Boschiero absorbs it, pressing in and body-checking Jacob into reverse, looking to shove him into range for a right hand. 1-2 by Jacob, BIG RIGHT HAND up top by Boschiero. Clinch by Jacob, shaking Boschiero and making things messy on the inside, getting in the ref's way before he can squeeze in between them. Boschiero wants the ref to gain control and let him work cleanly, frustrated. Big right hands and left hooks by Boschiero as Jacob flurries on him, walking him onto the ropes in a desperate attempt to flop atop him and hold. Boschiero raises his glove to salute the crowd. Jacob falls down while flurrying. Jacob gets up and salutes the crowd himself.
