So you can't develop a boxing strategy for Haye to win? Ok then. It would have helped if you'd simply said you were incapable of it at the start, rather than mess with the purpose of the thread.

I did come up with a strategy for him, fight a limited big guy first, then Vitlai second. This way at least he'll be used to punching up on offense, and get a feel for the punches coming down at him on defense.

It was more sparring to ensure that his reflexes and timing are as good as they can be, as much as preparing specifically for Vitali. I don't think there's much he can do to get past the strengths of Vitali (and awkwardness happens to be a strength in this case). What Haye has to do is ensure that his own strengths (speed, reflexes, perhaps youth but probably not power) are properly utilized. Sparring can help with that.

I guess the longer the fight goes the more Haye has a chance of pulling it off. Who knows what might happen after round 6. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that Vitali gets a serious cut or even breaks down. It's whether Haye can stay in the fight long enough to have a chance at winning the fight. I think Vitali will almost certainly floor Haye at least once in the fight but just because Haye goes down it doesn't mean that the fight will be over. Haye does get back up.
