I just dont see it that way. I see Holmes clearly outboxing Norton in most rounds and only a handfull had sustained two way action. Those were great rounds mind you but the whole fight was not like that. Then again im always flabbergasted that people think the Gatti-Ward trilogy was this great trilogy. I think Gatti boxed his ears off most of those fights and only made it exciting when he wanted to "sell" the fight. So maybe im just weird that way.

Gotta go check. If so my mistake bro it's always been the left bicep. I'll go back and edit if I said rt.

I agree, Larry was built around the jab, Tyson built off countering it. Tyson wins 9 out of 10 IMO.

Nope. I favor Foreman. He shut down every jab he came up against. Including ali's and Norton's I'm not sure Larry had the skill set to deal with a Young Foreman without it.

No offense but having just watched it days ago, it was pretty slow until Kenny decided to force the issue, The first 4 rounds or so dragged for me and I say that as a fan of a chess match.

Super stamina? He was semi died in the floor after of the Norton fight. If you did not watch the complete fight and only watched this part you would think that holmes was the gassed loser

As for the score Holmes with about a round for me. But I think 4-5 rds of the first 7 were very close, so it could go the other way too.

At the least Larry Holmes had very good stamina. Who would not have been gassed after such a grueling high level fight? If you've laid it all out you have to be gassed at the end of a 15 rounder. Not many heavyweights are known for their stamina.

Stamina, heart, determination and the jab are Holmes traits.

The best heavyweight fight I have ever seen. Close fight, could have gone either way.
