Devon Alexander, could he now be the top man at LWW?

I think Devon Alexander should now be voted as the top man in the LWW division. In only 20 fights he has won the WBC & IBF titles with stoppage wins over Witter & Urango.
I find those 2 wins more impressive than T Bradleys SD win over Witter, or his close win over Holt who put him down twice & who has been beaten by stoppage since, a ND with Campbell or a win over undefeated Peterson who was untested.
I would at this current time put the top 3 at LWWs as
    1. Alexander
    2. Hatton
    3. Bradley

I know most would say Hatton at 3 but I put him 2nd as he has only lost to Pacquiao at LWW which is a level above what any of the others have fought and has wins over Malignaggi, Urango, Castillo, Tsyzu, Lazcano, Maussa.

Do you also think Alexander should be voted as the top LWW now?

only a guy from England would dare put Hatton above Bradley at this point.

Still Bradley imo and Devon has a few fights more to close in on him.

I could say the same about you putting Bradley higher, but id like to think thats not the case. Im not a great Hatton fan but I feel wins over Malignaggi, Tsyzu, Maussa, Urango, Castillo are better than a SD over Witter, Holt and Peterson. Dont you?
Yes Hatton suffered a bad defeat against Pacquiao but that is fighting at a much higher level than Bradley or Alexander have ever fought at, and no one knows if they would do any better at that level yet.

Alexander may be the man at JWW one day, possibly even soon, but not yet. Especially not given the very impressive 2009 Bradley had.

So it's still Bradley, then Alexander at this point. And continuing to rank Hatton is just silly. It's already almost a year since he fought, and almost a year and a half since he's had a win. Furthermore, it looks like he is probably done. To me, at this point, Hatton has to prove he still has it, because it doesn't seem like he does anymore.

I agree Hatton hasnt fought in a while and wouldnt have mentioned him if it had been a year, but I dont think Bradleys 2009 was as great as people say, he got put down twice by Holt in a close fight had a NC with Campbell and beat undefeated but untested Peterson, yes its better than a 2nd round KO but not overall in a career to date and Hattons KO was at a much higher level than anything like Bradley has fought.
Also Bradleys win over Holt dosent look as good now Holts been stopped again

I can def see your point, and to be honest i dont think its completely unreasonable considering how they both did against witter, and could see how you would have devons win over urango higher then bradleys win over holt, and the NC doesnt count for much though Bradley was looking impressive.... and the peterson win was an awsome performence as well.

Im a fan of bradley but i think its pretty close, cant complain too much eather way IMO

    Mine looks like

    1 - Bradley
    2 - Devon
    3 - Hatton

but i cant fault you too much for your rankings and can understand why youd have it like that.

You need head exam big time if you have Hatton ahead of Bradley. Since Hatton got ko by Pacquiao at junior welterweight, he should not be in the top 3 junior welterweight division. I bet Bradley or Alexander easily beat Hatton.

Pacquiao is a much higher level than Peterson, Witter or Holt who put Bradley down twice and has now been stopped again since. Overall Hattons win over Malignaggi is a better win than anyone on Bradleys resume. How does anyone know what would happen to Bradley if he fought at the higher level against Pacquiao knowing the much lighter less durable Holt put him down and gave him all kinds of trouble?
Bradley and Alexander could well beat Hatton now, after such a devastating loss he could be on the way down but ratings are meant to be made from results not guesses as to who would win and overall Hatton has had a better career than both, but due to his loss I feel that Alexander should be rated above but not Bradley for a close win over Holt a NC with Campbell and a win over undefeated but untested Peterson

    1. Bradley
    2. Alexander
    3. Hatton (if he still fighting).

I think at the moment Bradley has to be the number 1, BUT, i think Alexander will be the future of the division.

Some day soon I reckon, but Devon is still number 2, following Bradley for the time being IMO.

    Why Bradley over Alexander?
Bradley only beat Witter by SD whilst Alexander has a stoppage win over him,
Bradley beat Cherry whos now fighting at SFW, Holt who put him down twice and has since been stopped again, and Peterson, whilst Alexander has stopped Urango who was higher rated and had not been stopped before
