How is Paulie rated higher? Cause he got beat up by weightdrain Cotto? Who has Paulie beat again? Lightweight feather fisted Juan Diaz?

typical casual fan logic, its not just who you beat but when and how you beat them. you cant just be like "oh well Alexander beat Witter too" when Bradley fought Witter he was the champ, the man who quit against Devon was no champ. And Holt who i believe has a history of doing good when hes mentally focused was being hailed as the next big thing and was more focused then ever going into the Bradley fight.

that being said Torres was only stopped in the second fight because of a headbutt and Hatton over Bradley is just unjustifiable

Explain why then with that arguement Bradley should be rated higher with a SD over Witter who lost by KO to Alexander a win over Cherry who Malignaggi had beaten and is now fighting at SFW, a close win over Holt who put him down twice and has been stopped again, a NC with LW Campbell and a win over undefeated but untested Peterson?
Surely you dont think that in the LWW division that even with a loss to Pacquiao that thats better than beating Tsyzu, Maussa, Castillo, undefeated Urango, Malignaggi and Lascano do you?

I like Devon, I like his background, his whole story. But I don't know, theres something a bit strange about it, I mean to be honest he was fighting guys that nobody had heard of for 18 fights and then in his last two he makes Witter retire on his stool and then stops Juan, its quite impressive but Witter was around 35 or something at the time and Juan was a pretty straight forward guy that would of been out-boxed by anybody with a bit of talent. I think he has just been led really well down the right boxing path but I think the fact that he has two titles just makes him look much more impressive then he is at this stage. And I agree with the rest of the posts that Bradley is number one, but he is 3 years older with more experience at this stage. So who knows, this light-welterweight division is one to watch thats for sure.

While I agree to some of what you say in Witter being champ etc, There is a difference still in a win by SD and a KO win, its not like they were years apart, I dont recall Holt being rated as the next big thing (not saying he wasnt) but he had been KOd before and since, with that logic you could say Hattons clear win over Urango was better than Alexanders KO win as Urango was undefeated champ going in rather than a champ having a recent loss. For the record I think Alexanders result is better than Hattons against Urango.
You could say Witter was going in against Alexander more focused than ever to win back his title on that note

He did what he had to do to win. Yes, Alexander shined much better with his style. I just pointed out that he beat a undefeated Urango. Just like Bradley beat a fresher Witter. No doubt that Alexander will be ahead of the class, but I like to see him in a couple more fights before dubbing him the king of the 140 pounders. Because you know there are posters lurking and waiting to see him slip to then come out and say he was overated and other harsher comments. Hatton fought a tall order in Pac, but give him a chance if he comes back for one more fight.

    Current Top 3 is :

    1) Bradley
    2) Alexander
    3) Khan
    4) Paulie
    5) Urango
    6) Holt
    7) Ortiz

You cant really even Rank Hatton at this point as it all but looks his Retired , Thow for the record a Prime Hatton beats all the above fighters at 140 and none of the above have wins over fighters anywhere near as good as some of the guy's Hatton beat and it's still a lost fact by many on these forums that the 2 fighters that beat Ricky Mayweather and Pac where Pound4Pound #1 and possible the 2 best fighters of this era , So let's not forget minus Paulie ( Cotto,Hatton - Both He Lost ) and Khan ( Barrera - Shot ) none of the top guy's at 140 have been in with guy's anywhere near the level of the fighters that beat Hatton or for that fact fighters Hatton beat ( Zoo , Castillo , Collazo ) thow i will agree Bradley,Alexander,Khan,id even say Paulie now all beat Hatton Possible By ko-tko
