He hasn't stated anywhere that he'll face Khan in the future, has he?

I just got this joke of quote from Kevin Cunningham

These guys don't want a peice of Khan.

He's just keeping his options open.

He's wise to, it will help when Khan starts moaning that he's asking for too much money :deal

I think the point he is making is that if he beats Bradley (who is the consensus #1 at 140), then he is the #1 fighter at the weight, thus Khan would be the one in the position where he NEEDED the fight to prove himself, and not Devon.

lolz... Amir Khan is even more cash cow than marquez. Alexander got exposed by Kotelnik. One ***** in boxing is enough coz he lost his urge, we dont need another *****.

just for this comment by alexander, now i hope bradley wins....winner of this fight must fight khan and the winner of that should get a shot at a "cash cow".

Its obvious alexander is young and wants to go after the big bucks, i cant blame him but he must go through the required opponents to get to the big paycheck.

Hes young and talented and it will come with hard work and time.

That is exactly what he is saying. khan is who he is b/c he has a fanbase not b/c he is a killer in the ring. If Devon beats Bradley he is cleary the #1 in the div. And fighters should be chasing him.

Devon has the pride of a champion which I like. Devon does not want to wait to build up fights, he feels the road to greatness is in the ring, not in the size of a fighters purse. I can't understand the criticism from you guys over this comment. Either you don't understand it or your a "Khan Kocksucker".

The ***** move is Khan running to twitter to talk about negotiations for a fight and claiming everybody wants too much money. That's why Maidana had to force his shot with the WBA.

He knows Khan is a bad match up for him. It doesn't matter he'll lose to Bradley anyway.

    "Pride of a Champion"?

Champions do not fear anyone, and usually say they will take on anyone.

Bradley has the "pride of a champion", not Alexander.

Not to mention, that it is intriguingly suspicious of how he has said before that he wouldn't mind fighting Khan but after the Kotelnik fight wants nothing to do with him?

Ring Master, you are one of the most logical people here on ESB. You've even convinced me that Khan should fight Prescott, which I now agree with, because it only makes sense.

Why would you go so far to defend a fighter who, after his fight with Kolelnik, clearly sees a threat from Khan and refuses to face it, AS a champion?

WBC junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander sees nothing special about Amir Khan, the WBA champion. Alexander faces WBO champion Timothy Bradley in a unification bout on January 29 in Pontiac, Michigan. Most expect the winner to face Khan in the summer. Alexander doesn't see a reason to chase after Khan. He considers Juan Manuel Marquez a bigger fight at the weight. Marquez is expected to hit 140 this year. Alexander doesn't consider Khan a mandatory target after the Bradley fight.

"Khan is an okay fighter. There is really no big deal about him. People are really making a big hype about Amir Khan. I don't see what the big hype is about. I guess he has some power behind him to get some hype, but people think more about him than I think he is. He's an okay fighter. The winner of this fight don't have to go after Amir Khan," Alexander said.

"The winner of this fight is going to be the number one in the division. Marquez is a bigger fight than Khan. It's not about chasing Amir Khan. Amir Khan is not the cash cow at 140. I got a big following in St. Louis just like he has a big following in the UK. I don't think we should be dwelling too much about Khan after this."
