dont accuse the guy of ducking this early?!

If he beats Bradley and fights marquez, thats a huge fight IMO. Then the winner of that could fight khan? while khan fights bradley (if he loses to devon).

it is very weird saying this though. sort bradley out first. khan is clearly a big money bringer at 140. who IS the cash cow at 140 if not khan? unless manny comes down to 140

Pretty dissapointing comments from Alexander. Why wouldn't he want to fight him?

Isn't JMM a bigger name than Khan? I can't see how it would be considered a duck, JMM is a top 5 p4p fighter, Khan isn't top 10.

Don't get me wrong, I want to see the LWW division unified, but choosing to fight Marquez rather than Khan isn't exactly taking the easy way out.

exactly thats what i was thinking.

if devon could beat bradley, i would personally put him at #1 at 140!

and a fight with JMM would be massive

Obviously he doesn't "like" the Khan fight judging from those comments, but if Alexander is trying to get paid, he would have to fight Khan.

Of course Bradley loves the fight. He will fight anybody as long as the money is right.

Marquez is a bigger name in Mexico and probably the US.

Marquez is also a lightweight. He doesn't have a single win above lightweight.

Khan is a top light welterweight (WBA champ), as will be the Bradley-Alexander winner. Bradley-Alexander is a partial light welterweight unification (WBO & WBC - Alexander got stripped by the IBF a few months back). The winner can virtually complete the unification by facing Khan.

It's the more important fight than calling up Marquez, who should tend to his business of ruling lightweight with an iron fist.

Alexander is probably hoping for a fight with Marquez during the Mexican holiday in September. Khan as well. Good exposure, those usually sell on PPV. Marquez is a bigger name and much older, he's most likely not going to be around as long as Alexander, Bradley, Khan, etc..

That doesn't mean crap. Khan and Bradley get murdered for mentioning JMM.

JMM is a 135 fighter. Khan is #2 140. If this guy doesn't fight Khan then he'll be considered to having ducked Khan, and rightfully so!

Khan has unfinished business with Prescott before he gets to face the top dogs in the division.

Prescott has unfinished business with Vasquez and Mitchell. Mitchell also has unfinished business with Katsidis who has unfinished business with Marquez.
