Marquez has no business fighting above 135, that's why he shouldn't really be mentioned IMO. Whether he's top 3 P4P is irrelevant to me. If he fought ANYBODY at 140 I wouldnt be happy. I cant see why Alexander is saying that, I'm not going to say he's "ducking" Khan at this stage, he is fighting Bradley after all, but it is unusual.

EDIT: Will people stop mentioning ****ing Prescott!? What has he done lately to deserve a shot? Lost to Vazquez and Mitchell for Christ sake at the weight below, he isn't worthy of a shot, no way,

I think his point is that if he beats Bradley, Khan can come after him, essentially he's saying that the winner of Bradley-Alexander is "The Guy" and it's not their top priority to immediately face Amir Khan. I agree with him, I unlike many of you, have a tremendous amount of respect for JMM and I don't know that I wouldn't rather fight Khan than a future HOFer and one of the top 5 best P4P fighters in the world. Obviously either one will fight Khan at some point, this is more a prideful response aimed at the incinuation that he needs to immediately fight Khan to validate himself as a champion.

Alexander knows khan won't agree to take a 50/50 split or a 60/40 in his favor if he beats Bradley, he will be hard to negotiate with. In his mind Alexander would be the man and is a draw in his own right and doesn't have to be dictated to by the likes of Khan, it's really that simple.

Laz being very biased to his hero Khan. Dude Khan is not really thinking about facing the winner of Bradley vs Alexander since he's still keep talking about facing Mayweather or fighting Marquez but i guess that's ok by you?????? Sure facing Mayweather will be great for Khan but facing Marquez??????

Finally, the Devon defender is here. I was waiting for your reply.

Khan wants the winner you moron :patsch. Straight after he said at the Press conference he wants the winner of Bradley/Alexander after his UK fight.

How can you even justify what he said? Stop being such a suck up and grow up.

The reality of it is boxing is a business first, sport second. It's more about making the most money than being the best. The winner of Bradley-Alexander would still be chasing Khan because he's the "money" guy in their weight class. Obviously Devon has too much pride to admit this, but Bradley knows the deal, which is why he said he would be willing to go to the UK. He knows fighting there will make him the most money possible

Completely disagree with you on this 1 Laz. What happens if Devon beats Bradley, then calls out Khan only for Mayweather to offer Khan a fight. Would Khan have ducked Devon by taking a fight with Mayweather?

As for Marquez being a 135 fighter, can we really make that assumption on 1 fight he had at 147 when the other guy came into the ring as a vertical Middleweight?

Would you really favour Alexander over JMM? I certainly wouldn't.

Don't get me wrong, I want to see the winner of Timmy - Devon fight khan to sort out who is the best at 140. But it shouldn't be considered a duck if the winner of that wants to fight JMM as it's a huge fight, both financially and namewise.

That's cause Bradley is not even a draw lol. Alexander he's a big draw in st louis in which he can bring more then 30,000 or more to watch him fight. Bradley can only bring up to 8,000.

Marquez said if the Morales fight don't happen then he will fight at 140 pounds in which you and i both knows that Khan will rather fight Marquez then facing the winner of Bradley vs Alexander.

Whatever you say Alok.:rofl Khan over values himself. He will want the lion's share and he wouldn't even be the man of the division. Alexander is a big draw in his hometown and will probably want the fight there. He knows Kahn will never take the fight but a guy like JMM who has done it before will.:deal

Devon is just posturing, that's it, BTW JMM is better than Khan anyway, but I have no problem with the winner fighting JMM, as long as Khan gets the winner of said bout.

like it or not khan is the cash cow of 140, alexander is getting his FIRST million dollar payday against bradley.

and big draw in his HOMETOWN dont mean ****, how much of the ticket revenues do fighters get to split anyway?
