Even if Alexander beats Bradley, Khan will still be a bigger draw than Alexander.

But JMM might fight Alexander instead of Khan despite that cause it's a more winnable fight.

If jmm would not take a fight with Khan why would he take a fight with alexander who in theory would be no1 if he beats bradley?

Jmm wont fight Khan,Bradley or Alexander the only reason he is calling out pac is for 1 final pay day!

Khan is the man making the money in this division and to say Jmm bring more money is wrong! Alexander knows Khans spars with p4p no1 pacman who is a southpaw and always reads reports Khan hands him a beating and is thinking **** that!!!!!!

People are being too harsh on Devon. How will this be a duck? He's talking about facing Marquez - the same guy that Amir and his team have talked about facing after their next bout.

I dont mind about either facing marquez but skipping khan is bull****.
And marquez definitely has the potential to **** the whole thing up.
Best thing would be if teh winner, most likely bradley takes a tune up in may and face khan in september.

From what he is saying even if he faced Jmm and won he would not go after khan!

Khan would be a huge payday for him and If he is so confident he would win why not take the fight? Hey if he is that good it would be an easy payday!

Alexander knows khan has his number thats why he wants and end of his career Jmm to try make a name for him self and before you say it I know thats why khan wanted him also but it the wrong move for him, bradley or khan at the momment!

Bradley know if you want to be known as the best you have to fight Khan he is the gate keeper to Huge ppv fights hey look at prescott for about two fights

Your excactly right:thumbsup, it sucks that boxer nowadays are so affraid to lose that they will not face the best guys they just chasing the money.
I actually give alexander a decent shot vs khan allthough I believe he would lose in the end.
Bradley seems to have the right idea now when he recently said it seems I need to beat khan before I get these big fights.
Khan wants mayweather and bradley wants pacquiao. I say let bradly win the alexander fight and the winner of him vs khan faces floyd or pac since those 2 will never meet anyway.

Even if he doesn't face Khan immediately next, what difference does it make? As long as he meets him at some point in the future - late 2011 or early 2012. These 140 matchups were never constructed in a tournament format, and the fighters were never obliged to meet each other one after the other. Devon and Khan are both young, and they have plenty of time to get it on in the future.

Actually, Bradley in the past has also said on numerous occasions that after he's done with Devon, he'll pursue Pac and May. Those fights are priority for him, and if it was his decision, he'd take them before Khan any day. It's no different to what Devon is saying now. He too wants the Pacquiaos and the Mayweathers after Bradley. He's just saying Khan isn't that big of a name that he must face him straight after.

Ok....Alexander (if he wins) would have loads of options. There is another Hot name at 140lbs in Ortiz, Devon and the City of St. Louis has a FUED with Zab Judah, he may also may wanna test himself at 147lbs like Bradley did when he fought an undefeated Carlos Abregu. Both Fighters (Khan & Alexander) are in their early 20's...so eventually a meeting will happen by the end of 2011 or beginning of 2012. But isn't it kind of interesting how it was Khan that RAN HIS ****ING MOUTH arbitrarily choosing to fight the weakest, less skilled, easiest to hit fighter in Maidana and also saying that Bradley and Alexander should fight each other and he will fight the winner. Yet is trying to schedule another fight prior to fighting the winner.

So when Alexander says..."I don't have to fight Khan if I beat Bradley". You FOOLS/IDIOTS totally take this statement and translate into Alexander NOT WANTING TO FIGHT KHAN AT ALL, AND BEING SCARED OF AMIR KHAN?

HBO have been balls deep behind this 140 unification thing from the start. They have both Bradley and Alexander on two fight deals and they will make the Khan fight unless GBP really push for JMM (which they wont).

I'm telling you now Khan will fight the winner

Darryl, I agree people are being harsh on Devon, and that he's right when he says doesn't have to fight Khan straight after. But....

He would if he could but he can´t, the winner of this mini 140 thing is the one who deserves the shot and possibly will get it, atleast I hope.
Bradley figured that out as well and thats why he recently said it seems necessary that I face Khan first.
Its also better for boxing if it goes this way.

    True.

But I think Devon is just too simple-minded to realize this. He's got his eyes on the major PPV attractions (JMM, Pac, May etc), and on nothing else. These comments don't mean he's "ducking" Khan at all.
