Completly agree.

 

Alexander is not the complete package. He doesn't seem to have much of an inside game, and his defense needs work. Alexander is a good fighter, but let's not go overboard.

 

Has average power at best, don't see him as some all time great in the making.

 

He said "potential", he definetely has the potential to be a great.

 

You also said you don't know who outside of Bradley can beat him. HOw about Pacquiao, or Maidana?

 

He's got potential to be the greatest high pitched grunting athlete since Monica Seles

 

I have high hopes for Alexander too. :good Someone on here said he had only average power? I think because of the enormous amount of amateur grooming, he's just now getting his pro style set where he's going to get all the mustard on that knuckle sandwich and we just saw the payoff of that after having stopped an absolute tank that Randall Bailey blasted his best at and couldn't stop.

 

Really needs to cut that out, its embarrassing not only for him but for the sport itself.

Punch he caught Urango with was down to surprise then power. Urango didn't see it. He's not a big puncher, its clear as day.

 

I don't personally do that. But I see a lot of potential on this dude unified titles in a very good division in his first twenty fights. Helluva start even if he doesn't pan out to be a great.

 

He surprised his brains out right there. It's not clear as day. This happens frequently, actually. Look at Hasegawa. He didn't have too much of a kayo percentage but then he started sitting down on his punches and is now a known proven puncher. Opportunism is part of the Urango fight but look at that punch. He had a hell of a lot of power there. Can't tell me otherwise. He was getting amazing leverage for that shot. The guy can punch when he commits.

 

I'm not and that is why i'm saying he only has the potential to be great, still needs to work on certain aspects and will improve as he gets more experience at the top but you cannot argue that the potential is there.
