I think his style is similar to junior jones and i think the only one to beat him is khan(i think devon could catch him cold as well though).

who do you think at 140 can beat him?

and do you see the resembilense(spelling?:nut)

I think he is an amazing talent. and the best at 140.

atm he is a rough diamond, the time to beat him is now. within 2 years he will be one of the best p4p boxers in the world.

maybe i overrate him, but i am mightily impressed by him.

He looked decent against Witter, a shot version, and had a harder time against Urango than Berto or Hatton - You know, those Willie Pep and Pernell Whitaker clones.

Without that astonishing punch, he wouldn't be rated so highly.

Decent fighter but hugely overrated. He loses to Maidana, Ortiz, Khan and Bradley. Easily enough to put an end to this absurd hype.

    He'd beat Kahn for sure.

Thank god I'm not the only one on ESB who sees it. He is more overrated than any fighter in recent memory atm. Bradley outclasses him completely.

He knocked out Urango, which noone had ever accomplished, with a vicious uppercut no less, whereas Berto and Hatton merely hugged him for 12 rounds in 2 of the most boring fights this century.

Alexander was far more impressive. What a stupid thing to say.

He has great speed, and a blistering jab to completement his astonishing power..

 He KO's Maidana. Wins a wide UD against Ortiz. Wins a close decision over Khan. And a wide UD possible Late TKO against Bradley.

Khan is the only threat to Alexander at 140, and given his chin, one clean uppercut and it could be over at anytime.

I don't remember him having a particularly hard time against Urango. He did well, outpunching a big puncher, and becoming the first to stop him. Berto & Hatton could only outbox him, but not significantly hurt him.

We will see how he get's on against Kotelnik. I predict a late stoppage or UD for Devon. Then will rate Maidana ahead of him?

He'd have a few more problems with a prime version of Witter but to be frank he doesnt everything right that Witter does wrong. Fundamentally the kid is VERY sound. He's pretty much in my eyes a much much better version of Corey Spinks. He's definitly one to watch.

He stood Urango on his head and made him look like an amateur. And Devon beats Kotelnik if they fight with ease. Kotelnik doesnt have the pop to trouble him.

Witter werent shot but he did have a bad injury.
he knocked urango out, something hatton, berto and even bailley couldnt do.

i do get that not everyone rates him so highly, i have a hunch tho.

i see him as a spinx with kayo power.

He is really good but overrated as well. He wasn't that impressive against Urango and his faults are obvious. But hey... he is great for boxing and an exciting talent. I will be watching his next fight

All this based on beating an old Junior Witter and a shopworn Juan Urango???

Why is it that ESB requires some fighters to beat ATG after ATG to be praised, while some fighters look impressive once or twice and they're the man in their division????

Ortiz, Khan and Bradley are far better fighters than Urango. Maidana is a younger and fresher Urango with a refusal to lose. Get real man, Alexander struggles hard with any of them.
