Devon Alexander vs Amir Khan

What? No poll? No self respecting poster could answer such a question without a poll.
So, due to a lack of self respect, I shall give it a go. Ok, here goes.....

I'll go with Alexander.

 

Khan, especially if he fights behind the jab, and doesnt get into any reckless exchanges, can win this, with Roach in his corner.
But Alexander would start off as favourite, especially considering he's undefeated, and he's got viscous punches with both hands.

 

Alexander, He has power and can box. Khan has a weak chin.

Also, normally I don't care when people misspell boxers names but its DEVON, its even printed on his trunks:

Indeed, Devon can bang and box. Khan would have his work cut out for him.

 

Alexander. Khan looked a little awkward on Saturday when he came in to throw. He sort of threw himself off balance. I think Alexander would take advantage of that.

 

Devon by KO for me.

 

Alexander would win easily in my opinion. He has good all round boxing skills, can bang and has a good chin. KO by round 6.

 

Thus why Richard Schaefer, Freddie Roach, and Amir Khan have been talking up a 4 man tourney that has him facing Devon Alexander as late as possible. He might be able to keep Maidana at bay for 12 rounds and box smartly, Alexander will almost certainly tag him hard a few times and not easily lose the boxing aspect of the match.

 

I've never seen a full Alexander fight (are there any online?) but from the clips of him that I've seen, I would bet on him to beat Khan. Looks dangerous and sharp.

Exactly. If Khan doesn't turtle and maintains his composure, he can out-think and out-box Maidana and earn a decision.

Against Alexander, however, he faces an opponent with physical tools on par with his own and superior ring generalship.

Alexander by ass-whooping. Khan's good, but he can't hang with Alexander and Bradley, though I'd probably take him over Maidana.
