Not the worse fight out there, really. Kotelknik's still in the Top 10, and is still a capable boxer. Plus, at the very least, it provides a decent comparison between Alexander and the likes of Khan and Maidana.

Its a decent fight. If he can stop Kotelnik that would be a statement.

yep kotelnik is a former champ also. If he beats him he can put another former champ on his resume.

Well, to be fair, kahn has just fought, and his next big fight will be vs maidana.

Maidana stepped up to face Bradley, but then got injured.

So its not like they were ducking alexander

It's a solid fight between two top10 140-ers, nothing to ***** about. But not really a smart choice unless Devon can stop the Ukranian which I don't expect. Khan totally dominated Kotelnik, a skilled counterpuncher who could give Alexander some looks and take some rounds off of him which won't make Devon look too good.

Kotelnik BTW is a likeable guy and a dedicated boxer so it's good to see him getting another shot, he's going for the title not just for just the cash, and you don't wanna overlook him, trust me.

Well said! Let's not all forget that before his loss to Khan, Kotelnik beat a certain Marcos Maidana. So he's not all that shabby.

Should be an interesting fight to watch
