Bull**** stoppage. You can see Urango clapping his gloves over his head after second KD. He was capable of continuing. Guy's a tank he can take punishment. Bull**** stoppage. May have gotten knocked out later on in the round but give a brawler with a good chin every opportunity especially if he gets up at the count of 7 for Pete's sake.

Looks like he could have gone on. Maybe would have got put down a third time. Dont think the ref needed to stop it there.

The 2nd knockdown was a nothing punch, Urango was getting stopped that round even if the ref let it carry on in my opinion

Good shots by Alexander, but terrible stoppage! Why did he stop it, because he stayed on his back too long? He got up pretty easy at the count of 7, his legs looked fairly steady. Crappy decision by the ref!

The early stoppage anoyed the hell out of me last night. I couldn't even watch the knockdown replays so I changed the channel out of sheer disgust.

Anyway, it was a good fight that was getting better with time but if Urango had actually been allowed to continue and survive it could've been a much better fight. Guess we'll never know now.

I think a rematch wouldnt be to much to ask...Far from the worst stoppage you will ever see, it may have been only a few more shots from being a brutal one that was stopped to late.

But Juan did deserve to be allowed to go on.

too many early stoppages lately... i understand the ref has to make a decision quickly but this is boxing... Urango should have at least been able to get one more chance IMO. No doubt though to me that he would be going down again but i would have liked to see him given the chance. oh well though, good job on Devons part.

For the record, I think Urango would have likely gotten stopped later that round, but that wasn't an absolute certainty. This wasn't some 4 rounder between a couple of young prospects, this was a championship caliber fight. Urango has earned the right to be given another chance to continue.
