Maidana is being robbed of an honest, well deserved chance. But Khan got his chance off of a win against an old, shopworn fighter in Barrera.

BTW Warren protects his fighters more than GBP.

 

Rock Allen and Devon were light welterweights, Rock was basically more matured and experienced than Devon at the time they fought and still it was a draw, with Devon coming up from lightweight for the qualifiers, to give Vincente Escobedo who have been sparring partner with Team Alexander in the past.

So there you go, Vincente Escobedo was sent as a lightweight for team USA.

Thanks for the insight to the U.S story, but then what did Vincente win at the games, you are ment to send your top crop to the games, its not Khan's fault these guys did not make it.

 

They weren't even in the same weight class, and since when were we talking about Vincente Escobedo?

We're talking about Devon and the reason he didnt make it to the olympics, because of a highly experienced fighter in Rock Allen.

Devon was basically a kid, and had to qualify against much stronger opposition, sadly he didn't make it, but I dont see where he suffers from not having a medal in his backpack, he has taken a hard road without being protected by the likes of Warren and GBP along the way.

Don't hate on Devon, watch him tonight and make a fair assessment on him, he's a great young boxer. :smoke

 

Khan is 23, so you think he left Warren to join GBP and duck punchers all his life? get real, soon will have to face a puncher, otherwise Khan could of just stayed with Warren to keep fighting C , B class fighters at home.
