Devon Alexander vs. Kendall Holt

Devons my favorite active boxer actually, Kendall Holt is a dangerous, very dangerous opponent at 140lbs. Devon has never really faced a murderous puncher like Kendall, it would be a good test.

I think Devon would whoop both Kendall and Bradley.

 

Ive been waiting for Devon to fight for a long time. Holt is also a Very tough test, but a beatable one nonetheless. I will reserve judgment on Devon til after this fight.

 

If Devon boxes smart he should get a UD. He will need avoid Holts power punches because he can take you out with either hand. If he works behind a good jab and avoids getting involved in a war. He should win quite comfortably.

 

Holt's got 2 KOs in his last 13 fights. He's not that dangerous. One vs Torres (headbutt then got a free shot) and one vs Diaz (remember it? it sucked, Diaz hit him flush after)

 

His power is deceiving looking at his record, he doesnt look like a big banger but he has nasty power man.

 

I picked Torres to KTFO him in the awaited third fight, but that didn't happen and he came out and put it on D-Hops instead. In hindsight I think Torres would've been in trouble in a third one.

 

He does have some good power but come on, he's had some bums in front and can't KO any of these guys. He can't use it that well. But I guess if he does land that rare good shot he's dangerous.

 

Holt is going to be a dangerous fight for Alexander but I'd go with Alexander in this fight. Devon Alexander has the potential to be a top pfp fighter in the coming years. Holt is a top guy, good fight, Alexander by decision.

 

Holt has a date set on Feb. 20th with an unnamed opponent according to Bob Arum's NEW deal with Fox Sports.
