I have a small vBet on Alexander because of the King factor. Devon will run a la Dirrell to escape with the decision IMO.

That said, I hope Maidana puts him down for the count. On the satisfaction scale, it'd be a 10+. :D

People need to hold the networks responsible for this ****. Everyone knows a straight ****ing robery is coming. Just like the last time this chump was allowed to go 10 rounds with a hard punching fighter. HBO should really just tell this ass and his team that if you want to get paid HBO money for fighting another top fighter HBO doesn't buy 10 round fights.

Maidana has to know he needs a knock out to win in this chumps back yard.

Maidana is a chicken cause he bitched-out from fighting his mandatory-Humberto Soto.

WBA 140lbs Champion-Marcos Maidana should be stripped from his WBA title for (TWICE!!) ducking his mandatory (#1 WBA ranked-Humberto Soto).

Maidana has ducked Soto TWICE already, and has already made it clear that he doesnt want to fight Soto.

Maidana is scared:yikes to fight Soto.

Maidana first ducked Soto in November, and lied about fighting McClosky:

WBA light welterweight champion Marcos Maidana has reportedly refused an offer from his promoter Richard Schaefer to defend his title against his number #1 contender Humberto Soto on November 26th on the same card as the Adrien Broner vs. TBA fight.

Maidana reportedly wasn’t happy with the money offered to him for the fight.

, who recently defeated Breidis Prescott by a controversial 12 round decision in McCloskey’s home city of Belfast, Ireland.

McCloskey, who can’t punch, and isn’t as skilled as Soto, would seem to be the easier option for Maidana compared to Soto. Both fights are tough options for Maidana in different ways. Soto has a lot more technical skills than Maidana and is a better inside fighter than him. It would come down to whether or not Maidana could knock him out, which is highly doubtful because Soto has a great chin.

and now, Maidana again DUCKS Soto early next year, after Maidana again lied about fighting Soto in early 2012:

After scoring yet another routine win against an overmatched, lousy opponent last night in Mexico, former super featherweight and lightweight titlist

3.) cause now, Maidana is fighting feather-fisted & quitter-Devon Alexander next, instead of fighting Soto.

Maidana is afraid to fight Humberto Soto.

Thats why Maidana jumped up in weight to fight a 10-rounder with feather-fisted Alexander, rather than fight his mandatory-Soto.

when the fight was first made i liked maidana but thinking about it again i'm going with alexander. maidana lost to a faded morales even though he got the nod. he barely beat an even more shop worn chop chop corely. alexander is a southpaw that has decent boxing skills and he's younger and fresher than chop chop, and morales. maidana is a fun fighter but he gets a little too much credit around here.

Maidana by TKO or Devon BY robbery.

If Cloud could get a super robbery I am sure Devon can do the same..

Gotta give Alexander some credit for taking on Maidana right after he got smacked up by Matthysse.

This will look similar to that fight with Devon getting another gift.

I give credit to Matthysse for accepting a fight with Humberto Soto, cause Matthysse's countryman-Maidana blatantly ducked Soto.

and so has Pac, Marquez, Morales, Guerrero, Bradley, both Peterson brothers, Valero, Linares all ducked Soto too.

props to Matthysse for not ducking Soto.

Matthysse is a strong brute puncher with a strong sturdy chin, but Soto will beat him with ease.

I just dont which Humberto Soto will fight Lucas.

Soto might "play possum" and box Lucas to a 12-round boring decision to lure other big names into not being afraid of Soto and fight him,
    or
Soto will KO Lucas in the 1st round.

    Soto could do either.

Definitely in Alexander's favour. Compare the KO ratio of both fighters.
