    Alexander is countering with left hands as Maidana dives in with the right, and they're slamming together into clinches quickly spread apart by Smoger. Nice shots traded back and forth, with Maidana unable to land the straight right consistently as Alexander finds much more accuracy with the left hand lead. Maidana is still diving low enough to make Alexander miss some. A few are clubbing across the back of Maidana's head. Nice combo by Alexander! Right hook to the body. Ooh, Maidana lands a right to the chin but Alexander counters with a right hook!! Maidana is knocked down by a peach of a straight left, but Smoger doesn't rule it!!!!!!!! Maidana is buzzed!! Alexander pushes into him against the ropes, banging away!! Maidana throws uppercuts, and gets countered with a right hook to the chin!!
