That was a great shot and he timed it perfectly. But Devon wont fight him so close like Cayo did. He is going to box and sit down on his shots at the right time. I see Devon's skills bothering Marcos, but Marcos is tough and he can crack, I'm not oblivious to that.
Agreed. I didn't think Maidana had very good skills going into the Cayo fight based off the Ortiz fight, but they seemed even worse this go around. He only has a puncher's chance and not even a very good one.

Devon will expose Maidana to what he is just a 2D puncher. Just wished GBP let this fight happen as Khan's debut, but i guess Paulie was the bigger money fight and less risk/puncher luck.
Maidana has a puncher's chance against all of the fighters at 140. But Khan, Bradley, Peterson, and Alexander are all much more talented boxers. Alexander much more than Khan and Bradley, imo, has the durability to take several bombs and keep going, boxing his ears indeed.
Anyone at 140 dumb enough to go toe to toe with Maidana will get KO, but a good boxer would expose him. Khan vs Alexander is a pure boxing match, love to see this.
Maidana doesn't punch any harder than Urango and Devon took his shots with no problems. Maidana was made to look average when Victor Ortiz actually boxed him. Alexander by UD
Maidana is much better than just a two dimensional puncher, but Alexander would make him look like one. Maidana has some real skills, believe it or not, and he showed that in the Kotelnik fight. But the speed and skill differences are just way too wide here, plus Alexander fights smart, plus he has one of the best trainers in the business. Eventually, Maidana would just get frustrated when Alexander disappears every time he loads up for a big shot.
Urango has a 65% KO rate, Maidana has a 93%. Also, Urango needs to set power punches up, Maidana's power is coming out of nowhere. It's Felix Trinidad like, it's not about muscles, it's something else.
