DHop no longer with Golden Boy

wow sounds like Golden boy really dropped the ball on this one. Why did they try to make a fight for him when he wasn't under contract. And why didn't they try to resign him? Could it be possible that someone just forgot? And why would this attorney guy be telling GBP that Hopkins has signed when hopkins said he's never seen an offer for the fight or agreed to it? This is all kinda confusing.

 

There is obviously something more to this story than is being said. We will know soon enough.

 

Yeah he was saying that they just don't get a long full stop. The rent thing was probably the last straw. But I think their are a lot wierder things being said in this article then some guy got kicked out of his place. thats a side point. I want to know how GBP though they could represent a guy they didn't have a contract with?

 

Yeah I understand if Hopkins kicked his nephew out if he made as much as the average person, but the guy is a millionarie, he should of let that one slide. I understand DHop needs to handle his own financial problems and Hopkins isn't the one who's suppose to care of it, but come on kick him out?

the fact is we don't know the details. we heard a obviously bias story from demetrius...and i bet nard is just a natural hard ass. gaurantee it wasn't about the money

 

Dematrius has many fights and has money in the account, so he couldn't affort mortgage when many ordinary people can??

You're even dumber than I thought. If you're not comparing the incidents, then why the hell are you bringing it up? I remark that Nard wouldn't kick out his nephew out of the house over one missed payment and counter by saying O.J wouldn't kill his wife, it's just common sense. So if you're not comparing the two, then why bring it up? Why try to disprove my point by citing a situation from another incident if you weren't trying to compare the two?

 

This doesn't sit right with me. What fighters do is their own private business, but it's not making me like Bernard's personality any better.
