Big Reg like you said we do not know the story, so to put all the blame on DHop is irresponsible, just like putting all the blame on BHop is irresponsible. I think this will all filter out next week, but there shouldn't be a rush to put the blame on anyone yet. Personally, I think DHop is doing some crooked stuff on the side, it doesn't take more than a day to transfer from one bank to another. There might be some terrible financial managing, mixed with illegal activity going on and this was the last straw, but that is all speculation for now.
Dave, you make some great points. I appreciate people making contructive arguments instead of resorting to childesh name calling like a couple of other immature posters in this thread. The reason I put all the blame on D-Hop is because he was relying on someone else. It's Nard's property, and he has a right to kick people out anytime he wants. When you are relying on another person for something such as housing, there's a certain type of way you have to deal with that person. They may say or do things you don't like, but you have to learn to deal with it. It seems that Demetrius had a problem with how his uncle related to him and he wasn't smart enough to let it slide. There are definately other things going on that we don't know about. In the end though, since Demetrius was the one that needed his uncle, it's his duty to make sure the relationship stays at a functional level.
Don't worry Demetrius, your uncle is gonna get a spanking from Joe. Best of luck to D-Hops, he seems like a good man.
What type of good man, lets his woman and child end up on the streets? Not a judgement but a honest questions.
Aren't you the one always going on about the Superior Black Athlete? What's the difference between you saying that and Nard saying he would never let a white boy beat him?
BigReg... your an intelligant guy Im gonna wait to see the whole story before i jump to conclusions, theres a few things that jump to my head and heart.. 1 - I could def see hopkins being that much of an ass... but in REALITY, im SURE there has been a SERIES of incedents leading up to this. Do people REALLY think that D was a perfect tenant to then just be kicked out cuz hes two weeks late? 2 - that being said.... am i supposed to have sympathy here? i mean... hes probably richer then anyone i know, and he cant pay his rent on time? dont get me wrong... i feel for him in a way, for his kids... but its not like they cant get a regular place in a jif... But if the story comes out and its just plain old Bernard being an old *****.... id still be blown away by how much of an ass he is... and yet the blame STILL rests COMPLETELY on D's shoulders.... and blame falls on him.
The article is a joke. Even though it's D-Hop's side of the story he still looks like a complete *****. Can't pay his rent for two weeks because he's changing banks :huh Didn't get the offer for the Witter fight because he's changing attorneys :huh Sounds like someone who can't take responsibility for his own actions and doesn't fancy getting ripped a new one by Witter.
very true... also, he pretty much owes where hes at to Bernard and Golden boy... also his win over forbes. and the changing banks excuse is one of the worst ive ever heard for not paying his rent for two weeks. i bet bernard was just sick of his ****.
Oh ****, a Stepin Fetchit reference. Did you know he was the first A list Black actor? Pretty sad when you think about it. Oh, and to answer your question, no.
