Di Bella: if McCloskey beats Demarcus Corley he can secure WBC world title fight

Corley? he's been done for the last 5 years or so.

 

Corley gave maidana a tough fight but other than that he pretty much is used as an easy tune up for everu fighter in the division

 

Hopefully he can KO McCloskey

 

The same corley who has lost 17 of his last 27 fights? surely getting a world title fight must demand beating someone coming in with a bit of a better streak than that?

 

Corley is gonna win, I could almost bet on it. Say what you want about Corley he always bring his a game, and is always a tough fight

 

It was really close. He might have been robbed against Provodnikov but even if he wasn't robbed he still beat the crap out of Provodnikov.

 

Gabriel Bracero 18-0 3 KO, Corley was his first opponent I've ever heard of and he has the power of Kerry Hope

This fight is a joke McCloskey goes from chasing a fight with Maidana to fighting Diaz to this, should be a very boring fight and beating Chop Chop shouldnt mean you get your world title ****. However, Corley is a legend, whos been in with the best of the best and should never be disrespected and can make anyone look bad.. Im Irish and i'll be shouting for Chop Chop!

 

He might have been in with everyone, but surely that doesn't mean he should be pretty much in a WBC eliminator does it?

 

The last time I saw Corley was outclassed by a novice in Dulorme.

 

There was BIG talk a few years ago of a fight between olusegun and mccloskey (on this forum too), and mccloskey was the clear favourite, id still pick him over olusegun (as long as he doesnt fight like a dumbass as he did vs prescott, but ajose doesnt fight remotely like prescott), and ive seen a lot of both guys.
