    "Hi guys,
I just want to quickly announce that from here on in I will no longer have the management rights over Joel Brunker. As many of you may know I have had full promotional/management rights over Joel since he first turned professional back in 2008. In my time I have been able to steer Joel to a professional record of 27-0 which included wins to capture the Australian Featherweight Title + the WBO Youth World Title and also be ranked number 4 in the WBO World rankings + ranked number 7 in the IBF World rankings + ranked number 13 in the WBA World rankings + ranked number 15 in the WBC World rankings. I truly believe I have done everything within my power to take Joel to the top within the sport of boxing but I now feel it is time for me to step aside and let others take the reigns from me to hopefully get Joel that World title shot that he so truly deserves. I have always loved Joel's work ethic both inside and outside the ring so I truly wish him well in his quest to capture what he has always wanted. I have been fortunate enough to take Joel with me several times overseas so he could train and compete with the best internationally so that he could better himself as a fighter. I have also taken pride in being able to introduce Joel to some of the best fighters and trainers around the world and most notably Steve Rowland to once again help him on his journey. It is with great regret that I have to part ways with this fine young man at such a crucial stage in his sporting career but I truly believe things happen for a reason and I wish the next person that takes over Joel's career well. Joel is genuinely a credit to the sport of boxing and somebody that I truly believe could capture a World title with the correct team around him. Once again Joel all the best for your coming years and do yourself and Australia proud."

    Regards,
    Angelo"

You did a good job getting him ranked so highly considering the opposition he has fought

So does that mean Carlo doesn't or can't afford to promote his title shot?

Who is a great world title holder that has come from Carlo's promotions?

Brunker would get annihilated by any of the champs at 126, imagine what Garcia or Gonzalez would do to him...

Unfortunately, I think you are right. I think Brunker is solid but he lacks that something to be elite, but I hope im proven wrong. Nice touch by Angelo though, there a lot of love for it on facebook at the moment.

It's obvious midnight doesn't know of the dedication boxing takes when he bags people who are having a go. Whether Brunker wuns a major title or not he's still doing more for the sport than midnight.

It's an open forum and people are allowed to express their opinions. People bag fighters. FWIW I think Joel is a top guy and wish him all the best with his future endeavours and hope he can win a world title though me and obviously MP doubt it I hope he proves us wrong.:thumbsup

Well said, it was a thread about a trainer letting his charge go to move on to bigger things, instead it's become a thread bashing brunker, some people will use any excuse just to diss on fighters.

Theirs only 1 guy bashing Brunker, Midnite Prowler and he idolises Anthony Mundine,Danny Green and follows wrestling a trifecta of fakes. He has his opinion and is a dick let's hope Joel proves him and me wrong as he seems a nice guy who is just having a go and doesn't deserve to be dissed.:good

On the general forum all fighters get bashed and dissed, why is the Aussie forum so sensitive?
I'm just telling the truth, Australian fighters seem to have the most padded records against some of the most disgraceful opponents and then they get annihilated on the world stage. I reckon some of the fighters deserve the beating they cop on the world stage, it serves them right for beating up severely over matched opponents, in some way they get a taste of their own medicine.
