WBC convention in China as you can see they are going for a new market. very cool. another step towards the globalisation of boxing.

as for the topic, Diaconu has ****ed things up with injuried twice now. If the fight is postponed past the mandatory due date, he should get stripped.

What are you on about? A champion doesn't get stripped because he gets injured and needs to postpone. The fight always gets put back a bit. Did you ask for Abraham to be stripped when he became ill? What nonsense. It's not like Diaconu is looking for a way out not to fight Branco. So Dawson shouldn't have been stripped when he failed to fight Diaconu repeatedly, for no reason at all, way past the agreed by dates, but Diaconu should be stripped for getting injured?

Well, how many times will he get away with it...? Now he has the belt, his opponents will put up with it, but if he loses to Branco or Johnson, his bargaining power will be much lower and promoters will not be knocking his door down to get their fighters in the ring with him, knowing he could get injured again and have to postpone. Of course, this whole thing is not good either for his career or his reputation. It is what it is.

99.9% chance that this is what it is. Diaconu isn't injured either way.

Or, it's 99.9% chance that he is still to have fully recovered from that injury but would have fought with it anyway if the location had been finally decided on...but since arrangements have fallen through, they might as well postpone instead of forcing the Italians to try to organise a show at 2 weeks' notice in Italy.

...It's funny how everyone thinks they have inside knowledge about Diaconu's injury or lack of it. Aren't you the guy who suggested the reason the bookies were late in coming forward with odds on Bute v. Andrade was because Romanians were dodgy and bcause Bute was involved with the Romanian mafia and was going to throw the fight against Andrade to make them money?

    Get out of here!
