Diaconu vs Branco April 10 in Rome (Italy)

Fragomeni hurt his hand,apprently it's on the same card with Diaconu vs Branco now.

Diaconu will NEED a KO if the fight is in Rome.

I thought this was a relatively close fight to begin with, but if Branco's in front of his home crowd, he should end up winning the fight unless he's really faded during the time off (which isn't out of the question, considering his age). I suspect Diaconu will get robbed out of a clear decision win.

 

That's got to be a joke, right? Johnson was calling him out and needed to take a mandatory position to get a fight against him. Dawson was going to fight him until Diaconu pulled out with an injury, and then higher profile fights came along.

Yes, I mean Italy, where the fight is taking place and where there is a LONG history of judges giving overly favorable decisions to the Branco brothers.

Johnson's much better than Branco, but he probably wouldn't KO Branco, so it would also depend on where the fight is held, especially considering Johnson's bad luck with decisions. Johnson's a good two steps above either Diaconu or Branco.
