i wasnt hyping him to be the next Mike Tyson.

i was hyping him cause of how exciting his fights always are. his devastating, swarming, and pressure style are always due for exciting fights...win or lose. as tonight proved .

as far as im concerned Dawsons chin isnt tested at all, and Diaconu has arsenal in both of his hands so he defiantly has capability in knocking Dawson out if fully prepared.

dont be mad cause i rooted for a white fighter over the black one, wigga

Two fights he would lose... Yes, Pascal is quite good but he has many flaws. He throws his punches wide, he's there to be it, he's been hurt quite a few times (even against some light punchers) and he tends to hurt his arms/shoulders (that's the 3rd time that such an injury happen). Still, Diaconu was unable to get to him again this evening. I don't see him getting another belt considering how lucky he was to get one in the first place (thanks to Dawson dropping it).

I like Diaconu but I don't see him becoming champion again and, at his age, I don't really see the point of keeping on fighting.

Marc Ramsay (Pascal trainer): *We had to replace his shoulder 3 time during the fight!*

Pascal is just so lazy sometimes, but he definetly has the goods. I would love to see him in against Cloud or Dawson. Really I'd be happy if Dawson fought either, he's put on some boring performances and both Cloud and Pascal come to fight.

Ugh. That's going to be something that plagues him for the rest of his career...shoulder issues on boxers rarely ever really get "fixed" in the sense that it's as good as it was before the injuries.

Big time credit to Pascal for fighting through it, though. That is not an injury that's easy to just brush off.

    Yep.

He would defiantly have a chance for he WBO belt over Brahmer. I dont understand all this retirement talk, the guy lost...big deal. Its not like he completely got his ass whooped or brutally KO'd or anything...he put up a great fight and had the champion troubled many times.

a fight with someone like Glen Johnson would be awesome.

you saying he didnt pressure, swarm, and land devastating punches on Pascal? Cause he clearly did. make sure you dont cancel that eye appointment next week, cause it seems like you need a new pair of glasses.

dont look at the past, look at the present. he gave Pascal everything he had in his arsenal and that is somthing i appreciate about fighters.

Well I mean..., he didnt had this injury in the first fight vs Diaconu and he was cleary better tonight, it's very weird... (I mean that he had this injury 3 time just before the Froch fight but not vs Froch..., and not in the fight with Diaconu 1 and Branco). It's like random...

Pascal clearly beat Diaconu, shoulder looked fine in the 12 when he was fllurying on diaconus face.....sorry to disappoint you guys but i think pascal tricked us all and i dont even speak french, looked like he was faking it. He sure did win the fight though,

    PASCAL IS THE WINNER!

I definitely got the sense that Pascal fought better this time around and he seems like he's really fulfilling his potenial. As it relates to the shoulder, from here on out, it's going to be a random thing because once the shoulder gets dislocated like that, he'll always be more prone to it happening than someone whose never had the injury.

It sounds like he showed the heart of a lion in toughing through it for the win tonight, I just think it'd be a damn shame if that came into play when he fights Dawson. Unless doctors have improved in that area over the years, I'm not certain there's any real solution for it other than popping it back into place when it happens.
