Nick Diaz going non stop for 23minutes. I am knackered just watching it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mfz3_MrrxkU :tired
Probably my favourite MMA fighter right now, Nick is a cardio machine, most pro boxers likely couldn`t do that workout. Diaz does triathalons in between fights, his stamina is off the charts, he`s swam from Alcatraz before also.
Yeah but put him in the ring with a real boxer lets see how that translates ..Come on now his cardio may be sick but so are plenty of boxers well at least the ones that are in shape. It's how it translates in the ring that matters
I`m not saying Diaz is good enough to beat a boxer in a boxing match, I`m just saying his cardio & conditioning are second to none in MMA. For the record though, his boxing in an MMA fight is extremely effective, different thing altogether from straight up boxing but he`s not a boxer, he`s a cage fighter, so its all good as far as he`s concerned.
Put a boxer in the cage with Diaz & you`ll get a similar result, but vice versa. Different sports, different game.
Is 23 mins really that long on a speed bag? Not trying to question his conditioning, but although I've never tried to go that long, I can't remember feeling winded at all from it.

yes. Most people do rds of 3 minute anyways. going straight for 23 minutes is a huge workout for your shoulders
