I did.....Juan for me has never been on the level of guys like JMM, EM, MAB or PAC. But all this bumping of threads is the norm here. Don't take it to heart b/c that **** will not change here at ESB.

    Thank fcuk for search:

I still stand by the fact that Juan Diaz would get obliterated though. He gets hit far too much, at the same time he can land a 6punch combination against a guy and they will still keep coming forward acting unphased. Pac has shown to have a good chin so I dont see why any different. Difference is, if Pac lands a combination on any fighter so far, they clearly show their hurt. Juan Diaz cannot outbox Pac from the outside, and he cant outpunch someone with equal output, more powerful and faster. Pac also has fast feet to dart in and out.
Pac vs Juan Diaz would be very one sided, alot more one sided than people would think in favour of Pac. I think after Pac destroys a big fighter like David, the difference in power between Juan & Pac will be evident. A fighter who fits the bill of what you described is Castillo prime, skilled enough to get in and smother Pac whilst able to take plenty of damage should he need to, with his own power. Then again, I think Pac maybe too much for Castillo but i'll reserve my judgement on that until future fights of Pac show us what he can do at these weights.
I also agree that its very dificult to counterpunch Pac as even p4p masters at it have trouble doing it. However, IMO when fighting counterpunchers he is still at an style disadvantage and his ability to deal with them is more a testament to his p4p status.

I just think any straight come forward fighter would get obliterated by Pac. I would think the same if Pac were fighting Katsidis or Juan Diaz. The only time you can have success with Pac is by trying to outbox him...usually height with good boxing skills + chin is an advantage or if your name is JMM.

It will be intersting to come here after this match. I can guarantee Pac fans will be suprised about how Hatton moves Pac backward and I can also guarantee they will think he got wronged by Hatton's clinches and bullying of the smaller man. Its going to be a story of the larger man, with the larger frame, carrying the day in a weight class in which he is conditioned to go 12 rounds in. He will push Pac backwars all night and his body work will be effective against a fighter who stands in front of him and doesn't use lateral movement.
Typical overating of Pac going on here and lack of understanding of weight class.

    My reply:
Or perhaps typical case of overestimating weight class? If Hatton is forbidden to clinch like the PBF fight, id favour Pac. If he can clinch, Hatton all the way inside 7 rounds via a bodyshot.

I am 95% sure Pac will win this fight. JMM was a stylistic nightmare for Pac, he was fast with crisp straight punches and difficult to hit. Diaz is nowhere near as fast, nowhere near as crisp, IMO dont have as much power and there to be hit. Pac has put the 3 great mexicans on the canvas 12 times, he carries serious power and Juan Diaz style would just be feeding him to the lions den.

People are overrating Diaz power and underrating Pac's. Pac put Morales down in 3, LW David couldnt do it in 12. A 135 Pac is gonna be even more powerful and the fact that Diaz walks into straight punches says to me that its lightsout within 6 round. Pac by KO.
Seriously, I would give Guzman & Valero a much higher chance of beating Pacman. Infact right now im 50/50 with Guzzy-Pac but Diaz brings nothing to the table to beat Pac. Pac has been beaten by great boxers, great boxers with iron chins who tried to slug it out paid dearly.

    My reply:
You're wrong. Pac does everything Hatton does, better. You speak of weight class but if Manny can KO an iron chinned Diaz (watch his fight with Holt to see why) who is naturally a JWW anyways and stop iron chinned DLH, then he has power to KO Hatton.
This is one of the easier big fights to predict of the last few years. The last big fight ive gotten wrong was DLH-PBF, and that was an SD.

Hatton KO5. No contest, Hatton is elite. Too much strength and power at 140, and his stamina is still better than Juan. Even the older Kostya Hatton fought would still KO Juan inside 3 rounds.

Good enough evidence for you in me picking Pac over Juan way back? I always back up my analysis with actual results or something that becomes much clearer later on. Pseudo-experts here back up their analysis with "lol ******* dont know boxing" and made to look like an idiot later.
