Don King threatened to legal actions against HBO if they was to show the fight.

King is looking for Diaz to finish serving the time on his contract - which expires in March. King has to provide Diaz with another fight - but the Diaz Team believes that King will try to add options into their contract for more fights. This is something they are not willing to offer - when they already know they can sign with GBP and do better.

Damn shame - I was looking forward to this fight! :fire

I know what you mean, I still think the bout will happen, just have to wait a while! But seriously, Don King is just a ****ing pain in the ass sometimes! I mean, he is probably only being Anal because he aint a massive player in the fight game anymore, at least not compared to his heyday. Who are the biggest fighters in his stable nowadays?

****ing Tito - believe it or not! Oh and Diaz - for the next 3.5 months.

What ****s me up about this is that he didn't even enter the purse bid - he made no attempts to even get this fight - but he's the reason the fight isn't happening. I had read the rumors that he might stop it - but with less than 4 months on the contract left - they are willing to wait him out and be done with him all together.

Remember - this is a college kid that he's messing with - so even though it's just business - it doesn't look good on his part.

King, to me, has always been a disgusting individual, we have to thank him for some of the great matchups he has put on, but apart from that, I couldnt care less about him! Its a shame Diaz is getting ****ed around, I like him alot, he also needs to stay active I think, but who knows, this is boxing, anything could happen tomorrow!:good

Diaz and his manager Willie Savanah, should have never signed with Don King, I remember when they were shopping Juan around. Golden Boy really wanted Juan, but WIllie Savanah fenagled what he thought was a better deal with Don King, OScar said at the time, that it was too bad, that he didnt think it was a good idea to sign JUan up with DOn King. Well, he was right, and that mistake may cost them alot of money in the end.

The good thing is HBO has plans to keep Katsidis on the card and replace Diaz with someone. At least we'll get to see Katsidis again - if he does good - maybe they can reschedule sometime later this year.

I just hope Juan doesn't get stripped because of this.

GBP will be waiting with open arms when he's free. They might even make the Diaz/Pac Man fight - that Juan has been asking for. That's if Pac gets pass Marquez.

Thats all good news, shame it will take 3.5 months to happen. On the Pac-JMM fight, I thought JMM won the first, and as long as he hasnt faded too much, has a big chance of winning the second! As for the pac v diaz fight, personally, I dont even want to see it, pac has so many fights at 130 to deal with first!

I know how you feel - but there are already talks of him fighting Ricky Hatton and De la Hoya - so he may skip 130 and 135 all together. It's the only reason I made the comment.

Pac Man is turning into a money chaser - so you know what that means. The fights you really want to see him in - at his weight class - won't happen. He only took this fight, because they informed him that it would be just about the same amount of money to fight David Diaz - so he took the fight with JMM. It's all about the money now!

Too bad for Katsidis. Having no defense at all, his career is about to come to a screeching halt. He could have lost to the best at 135, but instead he'll lose to some second rater instead for less money and glory.

I know, I guess we shouldnt be too surprised, its just shame when there are the amount of fights there are, good ones as well, a good tournament in the making! As for fighting hatton and oscar, I think its stupid to consider it, as I expect you do, but money talks!
