After Amir Khans 'competitive' war with salita last night

i think the diaz / malignaggi winner will be next for khans usa debut

    will that backfire tho ?

i know roach mentioned marquez's name a few times
but i doubt frank warren will have the balls to put his meal ticket
on the line and jmm is rumored to be fighting hatton in june

it is blatantly obvious they won't put amir up against anyone
who poses a slight threat :verysad

especially in his usa debut ....im dying to see the 'warrior' he gets
    matched up with

this is why i think it will be the diaz / paulie winner

    will this backfire tho ??????

both are realistic fights for team khan

malinaggi would be warren`s choice as we all know warren likes non punchers and you cannot get much more of a non puncher than paulie.

it could back fire, there's always a chance but he'll beat diaz or malignaggi. i think a fighter of the calibre of JMM is a couple of fights away, amir's still young, I just hope he doesn't leave it too long to fight a serious opponent.

He'll probably fight Malignaggi, and win easily.

yeah lets see what happens on the 12th

i bet khans name gets mentioned

paulie would def take the fight

diaz would prob want a catchweight of 138.5 or less
he didn't even have the balls to fight paulie at 140 :-(

this could be a case of the loser (malinaggi ) getting the khan fight rather than the winner in which diaz should be a big favourite.

i think though as a showcase fight diaz should be the khan pick.
he is a very good fighter, but he is short, needs to be in the pocket to be effective , and needs accumilation power to do his work not single shots.

khan has the speed/size and abilty to stay on the outside , and while he would have to take his lumps v diaz , he would IMO outbox and outspeed diaz.

the downside for warren is you cannot guarantee khan`s shaky chin will not give out in this fight where`as v malinaggi warren would not have to worry.

i would look forward to a diaz fight, goot mix of styles and IMO a very winnable fight for team khan.

lets face it khan could slip up v anyone given his vunerabilites, so better to match him with known /bigger name fighters .

Paulie would get smashed by Khan. Amir Is better at most of Paulie's usual advantages.

warren will want paulie as of his power

but i think diaz will be the easier fight for khan

khan would dance circles around the 3ft tall flat footed lawyer
khans side to side footwork would give diaz nightmares :yikes

the khan and paulie fight would be funny paulie running backwards
and khan running side to side

would look like the wrestlers when they criss cross each other and bounce of the ropes

paulie might get him with a clothesline :thumbsup

I honestly don't think he beats Diaz. he'll eat too many clean punches not to get shaken up - regardless of whether or not Diaz has one-punch power, he has some of the most accurate power punching out there.

that being said, diaz doesn't belong at 140. the pauli fight was ment to be a one-time deal above LW but due to the controversy, he had to prolong his stay at LWW or 138 (whichever it is).

I hope warren doesn't "calzaghe" khan into fighting in a padded fashion for the next 10 odd years.

How long did khan sign up for? I hope he gets out of warrens grip asap. Khan needs to learn from hatton and calslappy/slapzaghe/cantdancebutcanslapzaghe

Malignaggi couldn't outbox Hatton, how is he going to outbox Khan.

He might take the Peterson/Bradley winner...that's the way I see it.

Diaz won't fight at 140 so that's out. And Paulie would take the fight, but it wouldn't really bring **** to the table as far as a good matchup for HBO and ticket sales.

None of these guys has scary one punch power (Peterson, Bradley, Diaz or Paulie). Putting him in there with Urango or Maidana would be a HUGE mistake because he'd get caught and knocked the **** out. Maidana catching him with something nasty or Urango simply breaking him down with his awkward relentlessness.

    :lol::lol::lol:

seriously, Breidis Prescott is already ripe for the picking, Khan should rematch him even if he lost his last fight to prove the KO1 in his record was a fluke and a lucky shot
